Disappointed with not only the price but the lack of guidance on what to do when you
arrive. The all inc food was like eating slops for breakfast. Lunch was a little better. The good points was the snorkeling. Beautiful fish but a long long trip from cancun

Well worth the cost and a full day of activities. The lazy river is amazing and guests relax and ride it as a lazy river! Snorkeling was great we had our own equipment sometimes confusing remembering where your locker was located Even enjoyed an afternoon nap in the hammocks. Food choices limited and poor quality. Drinks not great either. Eat a big breakfast before going and hope you’re not hungry at lunch!

So my husband and I visited while on our honeymoon in the Riviera Maya, and I must say this place is the best!!!! Xel-Ha is an activity-filled water park where you get to swim in a cenote, snorkel in a cenote, lounge/float on a donut in a cenote, zip-line, jump off a cliff onto the cenote, swim in a cave, get on a slide and so much more!! The best part is your ticket includes an all-you-can-eat buffet all day including unlimited drinks. You get your own locker, towel, snorkeling gear and life vest. If you’re visiting the area for a short period of time, I highly recommend Xel-Ha as this place has almost everything you need to get the whole Tulum-Cenote-Riviera Maya experience.

The tour and all inclusive was great. The transportation was made easy and the tour guide explained everything were well. However, we lost a lot of time in idle things. The park opens at 8 or 9 and we arrived at almost 10:30, and made it in by 11am. We were picked up at 7am and didnt have breakfast. We were very hungry so we had breakfast but it was more like lunch. The park itself is nice and has a lot of neat things to explore. I would recommend setting up your own transportation at an earlier time so you can get the most out of your money and day. You have all meals included so you might as well show up early to use all the perks. Being there early also allows you time to book activities (I.e. swimming with dolphins, zip line etc.). We took the bike ride to the river start. The mangroves were gorgeous!
Take zinc based sunblock, a water protecting phone cover, sunglasses and hat you don’t mind losing, water shoes and MOSQUITO REPELLANT!! YOU WILL BE BIT!!

I don’t want to oversell this place too hard, but this daytrip was the highlight of our vacation, and one of the best days of my life as a parent.
We have three very active kids- a fairly timid 8 year old, adventurous 5 year old and wild 1.5 year old. It was absolutely perfect for all of us.
We are pretty adventurous as a family, but getting to snorkel as a family of five through the lagoon and later the mangroves was such an amazing experience. Of course the 1 year old did not really snorkel, but the water was so calm he was able to bob along with one adult as the other adult snorkeled with the older kids.
Then there are all of these little adventure areas -one ninja warrior type course with water slides and a obstacle course type playground. And the small zip lines were a true highlight! I think kids have to be 6 or 7 to do it 😉
We went in the summer so it was not super crowded- I imagine there might be a lot of lines if you go during peak season but it would still be fun.
