Scuba diving in the caves/ cenotes was amazing however they really need to work on continuously telling people to pop their ears every 3 feet you go down and wile ascending and descending this should be done very slowly. I go scuba diving often and it’s very important to pop the ears every 2-3 feet and often while underwater or you can seriously injure yourself. You can get vertigo. Blow your eardrums, vomit, get very sick, the lungs can rupture. The divers made me decent too fast, iv been vomiting for days, my eardrum blew out and bleed. My lungs started hurting. This is a result of coming to the surface too quickly. I listened to the instructor thinking I do this a lot so nothing should go wrong by going up so fast. Usually, I sit for 3mins before going all the way up. Amazing experience but they need to make this clear to people the risk of not doing this often and the right way to do it, and it needs to be reaped numerous times. They need to not do this so fast, or someone will get hurt badly. Other than that amazing experience and a great park

It had rained on us for the first hour during Xel-ha excursion. Our dolphin experience was awesome! Lots of walking, rode bicycles, and train. The man-made lazy river had great scenery that fed into the saltwater cove where the ocean waters entered. We snorkeled the cove and saw two stingrays, but the waters were very murky. I would stay away from the food, made my family and I sick afterwards. Even though the sun never came out, this excursion was awesome and worth the money!

We went to Xel-Ha in May 2021. What an awesome experience. The restaurants are great and the food selections were amazing. We had delicious drinks and were able to snorkel and swim all day.
The cenotes, lazy river, lighthouse view & slide, trails and stops you can make while in the water was so much fun. definitely a workout.
We did not do any of the photo packages. We brought our own water camera and my husband had a go-pro. You are not allowed to bring any of this up to the lighthouse. So if you want pictures from this area you have to purchase through them.
We will definitely do this again.

This tour is way too long. We were dropped off around 10 am and were not picked up until almost 6, It is crowded. We had a group of active adults/young adults. There are few fish to see while snorkeling. You must wear a life Jacket at all times. We are all experienced swimmers and adventurers. This is a bit mundane for a group that has has traveled a lot. The lines are unbearably long for food and drinks. We were ready to come home after a couple of hours but could not find a way back to our beautiful and relaxing hotel. It is commercial and not intimate.
I would avoid this. Don’t waste your day or money. This is not a unique experience and there are much better options in wonderful Mexico.

I booked this park because of recommendation from Amstar agent. I was so excited to take my family there: lazy river, snorkeling, bike zip line, biking…. Sounded so awesome and family friendly. Unfortunately my whole family was disappointed. Mask are required while walking outside, no one can enter an outside eatery without one….however in the locker room masks are not needed…. Hmmm… totally makes sense. The lazy river was not so lazy – it is a real river, not so safe for people with limited swimming abilities. It was very scary for me, I thought I would not make it out of it alive. I had no idea where the river would take me or if I would be able to get out of it. Live jackets, snorkeling equipment are provided, floats are also available.
The park map was were confusing, we were unable to find bike zip line. The path signs we followed led us to regular bikes. There is a “train” that can take you back to the beginning of the river. Kids play area is nice for younger children. There is a tiny, tiny pool for them to splash in.
This place would be an incredible place If there was also an alternative to the real river – a man made lazy river for less skilled patrons, and those who don’t have a death wish.
