If this is your first time on the carribean side of Mexico this is a must do. Beautiful scenery can’t miss for nature lovers. The snorkelling is amazing and the walk through the jungle is breathtaking. I would recommend getting the all inclusive which includes meals and transportation.

My worry before going was whether I would need swim/rock shoes. I risked it without and although my feet were pretty achy by the end of the day from all the walking the paths are mostly smooth.
Towels, snorkelling gear, food and drinks are all included but take some money for the extras like the photo package (recommended) if you don’t have an underwater camera or don’t fancy carrying it around with you you can activate a barcode on your wristband and at different cameras throughout the park you scan it to take photos of you, even during the slide, snorkelling or cliff diving etc. Then download all the photos when you get home, one price for as many photos as you like.
The place is beautiful, I love how they have made a waterpark from a natural environment. So much to do…Caves, lazy river, underwater acivities (may cost extra), boat ride (extra), zip lines, cliff diving, water slide, I recommend a full day.
If I can edit this from my phone later I will add a photo of the map which also shows what costs extra.

We really enjoyed our day here. We were torn between Xcaret and Xelha and I am glad I chose Xelha. Cost per person was 85 USD I believe. You get a wristband and that includes most of the activities and all you can eat and drink all day.
The former reviews were right…go to the Mexican Buffet first. Food was amazing and they had every kind imaginable.
We brought our own snorkels which I think was the best way to go because the quality of theirs was not as good as ours. Bring sunscreen as there is not a TON of shade especially on busy days. We loved riding to the start of the river on bicycles and then snorkeling through the mangroves to the cliff jumping and zip line area. This was super fun and I highly recommend it. We were here 6 hours and I think that was enough.
Don’t forget to scan your wristband in front of all the selfie cameras there are everywhere so you can capture every moment. We didn’t take enough photos so I wish we would’ve paid more attention to this.

We were staying at a local all inclusive resort. Two co-workers recommended spending a day at Xel-Ha- it was so worth it. It is a water park built into the natural terrain of Mexico’s Riviera Maya. We spent extra to Swim with Manatees and Swim with Dolphins. It was a wonderful experience. We were the first ones there in the morning and booked the first swim with the manatees and we got a private experience, just the two of us. We took the train to the top of the lazy river and I floated in a tube while my boyfriend snorkeled. He also cliff jumped! There was so much to do, we felt like we only did half the park!

First of all Shout out to Yocelin from the photos team along with Gesel, manuel from the snack at breakfast and Pamela from the Mexican restaurant La casa del Pueblo. The park itself it’s gorgeous. If you are In the Mexican Caribbean this park it’s a must.
