My boyfriend and I booked through our hotel rep (TUI) which included transfer and 25% off as we booked xplore and Xenses too. Coach arrived to pick us up at 7am and we were there by 7:40, the lady who was there was very helpful and explained the park and what to do first etc. We also received 50% off the photo pass which I highly recommended in all the X parks instead of lugging your phone about with you and worrying you will lose it. We messed up and put our stuff in the blue zone locker which seemed ages away from the main stuff so found it a pain having to go back and forth for sun cream etc. I would say red zone is the best as it’s smack bang in the middle of everything but busy due to people using the toilets and getting snorkelling stuff. Also blue zone is by the dolphin sanctuary and they look so sad, one dolphin just staring at the wall every time we walked by, literally same spot. I personally didn’t want to swim with them due to them looking so unhappy and being in such a small area. (We had more space to swim in whilst snorkelling..)
We went on the slide first (white one first then we went on the blue one) we also climbed right to the top to take photos with our photo pass. The white slide is very fast so watch yourself when it dunks you at the end as it all goes up your nose and in your mouth no matter how hard you try to avoid it. The blue is a little better but when we got to the bottom the water was full of HUGE cricket things and boyyy was I freaking out. (There was literally about 30 floating around in the way of exiting the water)
After the slide we went for breakfast which opened at 9:30, I only ate the pancakes so can’t judge the other food although it didn’t look very appealing and they didn’t have much choice – scrambled eggs, french toast, pancakes, beef stew and fruit so you’re very limited.
We then went snorkelling and I was dumb enough not to sunscreen the back of the legs and bum .. I literally cannot move at the moment from the pain. I didn’t think it through that whilst I would be facing down in the sea the back of me would be facing up to the sun .. my own fault but make sure you cream up! The snorkelling was very fun! We saw loads of fish like Dory (finding nemo) and sting rays (which I was terrified off🙇🏼‍♀️) Unfortunately we didn’t see any turtles ☹️☹️ but there was a huge range to snorkel through such as caves etc. Only bad thing is when you’re trying to get in there is a lot of ignorant people just chilling on the stairs watching which blocks the whole stair case making it even more difficult to walk in flippers!
We also did some of the zip wire stuff which was fun and the lazy river which took ages and the current kept pushing us towards the rocks.
The food at lunch was nice but some people just came in and stuck their hand in the chip tray, took a handful and left… absolutely disgusting. The coke dispenser at all the drink stations were also covered in wasps but that’s nature for you.
Overall we did have a very good day but come home very burnt and tired!!

This park is simply amazing. There’s plenty of space so you don’t feel crowded. There is so much to offer from beautiful snorkeling areas to cliff jumping. It’s a stunning location and we’ve never seen anything like it.

This place is amazing. It’s a huge park that has something for everyone and every age. We started with the lazy river. Beautiful start with braches surrounding you as you float in your tube. Going around the river took over 30 minutes because we stopped to do some cliff jumping along the way. The kids had a blast in the different zip lines. There were lots of restaurants and bars which were all inclusive. Because we did a morning tour of the Tulum Ruins, we didn’t get to the park till after 12. I wish we had more time to explore the park, maybe bike around the beautiful paths. The kids wanted to do more zip lining but we had to catch our bus. There were plenty of hammocks and lounge chairs every where. Free lockers and towels were provided. There are other activities that are not included in the entrance fee but there was already plenty to do. The park is huge and you will do plenty of walking to burn off all the food from the all you can eat. Allow yourself plenty of time to walk to exit, especially if you have transportation waiting. Also, take a waterproof phone case. Our tour guide sold then for $30. I got mine from Amazon for $10. Plenty of spots for pictures. Can’t wait go go back!!

Family of 10 from Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya booked with TUI. Definitely a must place to visit as there’s so many aquatic creatures and it’s just really amazing. You have to go on the lazy river! I would definitely go again!

The park is amazing, it’s hard to keep everyone in the family happy but Xel-ha managed it.
Excellent snorkelling – loads to see
Bike ride to the top of Lazy River then a chilled Lazy float down to the rope bridges at the bottom followed by some zip wires.
We paid extra for the Sky bikes which were good but hard on the legs at times.
The food was excellent and fully included in our ticket price along with all our drinks.
There are picture opportunities all over the park and we paid to have them sent to us but you can check your photos during the day to see what you’ve got.
A very enjoyable day for all of us
