Jock B –
Fantastic day with good food (all-inclusive).
The annihilator ride is an added extra – but so worth it. It provides one of the best water based play experiences I have ever done. Snorkelling plus swimming in a cenote, lagoons & caves.
There are also zip-lines, slides and cliff jumping.
Fantastic family day out.

I would defiantly recommend trying Xel-Ha if on a family holiday. The zip lines are more ‘young child’ friendly than Xplor as they are a lot smaller and there is an amazing lazy river but I did find myself board come the end of the day in comparison to Xplor. There is snorkelling which is great to get the kids started and there is kind of like a small assault course in the water but it was too busy to use when we were there. There is a massive water slide which was fun but it takes so long to climb all the way up and stand in a large clue plus I caught my elbow whilst coming down the slide & it got infected on holiday. I’m rating the park down because the food, there was nothing I liked to eat at breakfast and it didn’t open until dead late so was starving and lunch was OK.

This is a wonderful place to spend a day – it is beautifully kept, very clean and Xel-Ha seem to have thought of everything, from snorkels and masks to use to good food. We thoroughly enjoyed the day here.

Went here for a day trip whilst on honeymoon in Mexico. Hubbie and I love water parks and slides and the big water slide in Xel-Ha did not disappoint! Top tip – go there as soon as you arrive so as to beat the crowds. Note, it is quite high & fast, so not for faint hearted!
After that we had breakfast – it’s v good that it’s all included — we liked the Mexican restaurant the best for food.
Next we cycled to the lazy river which is great. Enjoyed some zip lines and took our time snorkelling in the huge open water area. The coral ranged from being quite dead sadly in areas with no fish to see, to in places super vibrant and I saw more fish there in about 30 secs than I have collectively in my whole life!! 🙂 SO good.
Please note – if you are going to visit this park, be respectful for what it is (a water park with real coral, fish and wildlife around) so do buy biodegradable sun lotion. Don’t go to this place and not do that – it’ll kill the coral and harm the sea life.
So much to do for all the family, you will be knackered! We had a snooze in a little quite cove off the edge of the path to recharge the batteries for 45 mins. Much needed. Another family joined and their little girl was just adorable. She was shattered!
All in all a wonderful time, you won’t regret it. They do a very clever thing with the photos, and to buy them at the end is not overly expensive either. Enjoy! 🙂

We visited here not really knowing too much about it. So glad we did! It’s brilliant, worth the entrance fee, great food, unlimited drinks and plenty of activities to suit all ages. Makes up for the beaches covered in seaweed at the resort..my 2 year old loved it, even the lazy river they can do.
