Had a good day here the snorkelling was fab on a huge sea inlet the zip lines were good for all ages and we did them all then moved onto the cliff jumping which was well policed .we did the sea trek which I would recommend it’s very well policed by divers which are constantly checking you are ok . The food and drinks are good although the large international buffet is a bit basic the grill was our favourite and our server was fantastic . The helter skelter slide was good and although we didnt do the dolphin experience it looked as though it was a fun thing to do . I would not need to go back but would try another of their parks next time .

We spent a whole day at Xel-ha and travelled from Cancun. The transfer took around 1hr 30mins, and was in a funny looking Xel-ha minibus. A rep told us along the way about different activities we could do, and where we should go in the park, which was helpful.
We arrived and had breakfast. The park is all inclusive but having come from a Riu Palace (also all inclusive) the food in general was alright, nothing special.
In the park you can deposit your own suncream and per bottle you get 2 samples of bio degradable suncream – supposedly 1 sample is enough for 2 full body applications. I think we were enjoying the park too much and forgot to reapply as often as needed, as we got quite sunburnt!
We spent the first few hours snorkelling in the huge open inlet. You get life jackets, snorkelling gear and flippers. It was reassuring also that the mouthpiece for the snorkel is brand new, and you get to keep yours after you’ve used it – very sanitary. We saw some beautiful fish and even a wild sting ray.
We walked to the start of the ‘lazy’ river, passing by a few mini cenotes and a rope swing, through the jungle with lots of iguanas. The lazy river was really fun, and at the start the water was cold and fresh, getting saltier and warmer as it got closer to the sea. Towards the end there’s a little playground thing with tightropes to walk and zip lines. This part was really fun.
We brought our own knock off Go-Pro and filmed loads of fish and things underwater, as well as the zip lining. We thought it was great that you could bring your own camera and not be forced to pay for the photo package.
We didn’t pay for the photo package, and we didn’t buy any additional activities. The only reason we’ve given a 4 star review is because we thought that at 99 dollars each (what we paid with Tui) it was a very expensive day out for basically a lot of swimming. I’m really glad that we went because it was a lot of fun, but I wouldn’t spend the money again now that I’ve done it.

First of all we had a great day out at the park. The locker room was clean and dry and the locker system excellent, as we were doing the Dolphin experience we couldn’t wear our own sunscreen (it hurts the dolphins) but we’re handed no samples of the stuff that doesn’t. We did not get burned. The park is large and the zip wires, lazy river and snorkeling are all great the resteraunt is very good and naturally in the all inclusive package. The park was very well run and staff friendly. So far so good. However be careful if you go for the photo package it is very very expensive 250 dollars is robbery and totally out of order if I’m honest also turns out this price is negotiable so we got them down to 196 but that’s still pure extortion and even outdoes Disney for the price of photos. Do yourself a favour and drop the prices on the photos and charge a static price surely every on buying them at a lower price is better than some at a higher price, for this one reason I have dropped the rating from 5 star to 3 I which is a real shame as otherwise its great, I don’t like people taking advantage of captive audiences, and you do great things for the dolphins

This place was incredible. What fun! We did river floating, bike riding, snorkeling, eating, zip lining and rope course. The park was beautiful and pretty well kept as far as trash and such. We had two 13 year old boys and a 9 year old girl and they all loved it!

Food and drinks are included with entrance. Its buffet style so as much as you can eat. Food was pretty good but my favorite part was the soft serve machines. The snorkeling is fun. We saw lots of fish and enjoyed the coolness of the water on a super hot day. We paid extra for Snuba which was a great experience. This park is definitely worth it
