This place is awesome there is so much to do the food is awesome the staff is awesome I would recommend this place for anyone by yourself with a family couples there’s just so much to do and not enough time in a day

Out of all the parks we visited (Xcaret, Xplor, Xavage, Xenses)- this one was my personal favorite. I loved floating down the lazy river (kids loved the ziplines, cliff jumping, etc). I recommend riding bikes to the entrance of the lazy river- it’s a fun, easy bike ride…even little kids can do it! Towels are provided here, which is a nice bonus. The tower water slides are fun too…and it’s fun to see the view from the top of the tower before you go down the slides. What a fun, relaxing day this was for our family.

Booked this excursion through Amstar at my resort. Pickup was on time via Delphinus transportation van. The park is beautiful. I found the staff to be not so friendly or informative. We filled out release forms before our appointment time with dolphins and were given copies. We locked them into our locker with all of our belongings, as we were told to bring nothing with us, no cameras, no phones, etc. As we went into class to learn about what to do with the dolphins, they wanted the copies of the papers. Us, as well as many in the line, had to go back to the lockers to retrieve them. Our Dolphin trainer was excellent! We had an amazing experience with the Dolphins. The photo package st the end is highly priced. When I declined, he lowered the price arbitrarily. If you’re a good negotiator, I’m sure you could get it even lower. Did a bit of walking for the lazy river, but it was worth it! Snorkeling was great, too! We didn’t do the tower slide, because it was a big climb to the top, which i was not able to do. I wasn’t too excited about the food areas. Tried as best as they could, but flies everywhere and bees/hornets totally surrounding the soda/juice fountains. Great shops at the end of the day. This is a full day excursion. The return trip to my resort almost didn’t happen, and it ruined the day for us. I was picked up in a plain white van, at the last possible moment before the park closed. All the other transportation vans and busses had left. No one st the park could help me. It seems as though Delphinus farmed my transportation out to someone else. This driver stopped halfway through our return trip to “get gas”, yet we were literally in the gas station for one minute. As we neared the hour mark of travel, I turned on my gps, Because I was very leery of this driver. He pulled off the road and asked me if this was my hotel. If I didn’t have my GPS on I would’ve had no idea that this was indeed the road that led to my hotel, which was not on the main drag but several streets back by the beach. I was LIVID! My best advice to you is to take pictures of your tickets with reservation number and have the direct phone number to Amstar or whomever you purchase your tickets through st your hotel. Because I had turned in my tickets to get into the park, I had none of this information, and when I called the general number for Amstar to find out where my transportation was, the first thing they ask is what’s your reservation number and can’t help you without it.

This was a great day out – we enjoyed the zip wires, lazy river and walking around the park which is beautiful with plenty of shade. However the day was spoilt when we decided to go on the Lighthouse water slide. We were not aware that some slides were faster than others so just took our turn in the queue. As it is a very long way down you are travelling at quite a speed when you hit the water and just before the end of the slide the drop is very steep so you are spinning and lose all sense of direction, as such when you hit the water you are very disorientated and I found I couldn’t resurface and ended up swallowing and inhaling a load of water. Fortunately there are a couple of lifeguards at the bottom of the slide and they got me out of the water. Since reading other reviews (to try to make sense of what happened as I am a competent swimmer) it appears that this is a regular occurrence. I am thankful I didn’t drown and remain traumatised by this ride.

Visited Xel-Ha with my teenage daughter and four year old son. We had a wonderful day. The place is stunning and well organised. We booked our trip via Tui at our hotel. We took our son’s own snorkelling things as I wasn’t sure on the sizes of their equipment. There is plenty to do and see, we had a wonderful day. The food was ok, and the drinks were good. We spent most of the day in the lagoon snorkelling and took my son to the kids play park before we left. We paid for a taxi back to the hotel as the organised coach was at 6pm and we were ready to leave at 5pm.
