We had a great time swimming in the river, snorkeling, Sea Trek, the food was awesome and the final show was excellent. Will return next year.

Great experience,nice staff , friendly people definitely I’ll visit again .
I got couple of cons , prices on food are to high and the place are focused on international tourism ( I understand they leave dollars) . All the activities are offered in dollar no matter if you are foreign or Mexican .
I visited the park for two days in a row , tried to cover as much we can , was a fabulous experience.
The only thing I regret is not having seen the show “ Mexico espectacular “

Xcaret grounds are magnificent and you will enjoy walking around just because of the beauty of the place. Unfortunately for me there were extra charges I didn’t know about. I booked directly on their website and although there were a long list of items that were included in my package no one tells you that all the activities are sold separately and that they book fast. I paid about $65 dollars per person thinking that included all the activities in the park, boy was I wrong! Once we get to the park they told me that each activity is between 65-100 USA dollars! My kids insisted on an activity and after standing in line for 30 minutes they told me that activity was booked for the day! One of the employees told us that we could booked another activity and ask for a discount so by the time we are being told what our total was we asked why the total didn’t reflect the discount they told us we had to ask! This is what you call deceitful marketing. The park is beautiful and people will enjoy walking around but that’s all you can do with the price of admission. You can also purchase stuff in their stores especially at the Mayan village even though I think everything was overpriced. In my opinion the park can be compared to Disney’s Epcot minus the rides plus Epcot’s grounds aren’t as beautiful as Xcaret’s. The other thing was the overpriced pictures, basically they offer you to buy pictures packages that can be as high as 200 USA dollars. Why pay when you can take your own. The transportation was great but our guide and driver seem frustrated that the company seemed to have overbooked people and they didn’t have enough space. I could tell they were left to figure out how to fix that situation themselves so that delayed our departure a little bit. The driver and guide did a great job so kudos to them. My advice is, to have lots of money extra to pay for the actual activities there since they are not cheap. Don’t book thinking that the admission price covers the activities. Also, we had an amazing time at the seafood restaurant that overlooked the ocean. This was the best part of my visit there!! I highly recommend this spot to eat and relax. The night show is one of the best in the world and I highly recommend this as well. The show left me in tears because of how beautiful it was!!

I had visited this place in the early 90s and fell in love with it. In 2021 I fell deeper in love with the place. It’s just beautiful here! There are lockers, changing rooms and plenty of restrooms around. Plan to spend the WHOLE DAY when you visit.
