There was an issue with the high amount and credit card used to charge the tickets with where they required screenshots of the credit card and credit authorization be emailed. This is very unprofessional and very risky. This is an issue that should have been resolved on their own through VISA if they needed to confirm authorization. We were assisted by Armando.

The park was excellent however we were told that due to covid restrictions the busses would be limited to 1/2 capacity. That was true for the ride there which also had glass barriers up. The Bus that took us back did not have barriers and was completely packed. I am fully vaccinated yet caught COVID-19 and belive it was on this trip. It was the most crowd exposure on my trip. I’m writing this while on quarantine alone stuck here in Cancun beacase I tested possitive and had to cancel my flight home. The rest of my family thankfully tested negative and are home. Advise do not use the busses to and from the park they are packed and you will be at extreme covid exposure risk. Obviously it has destroyed our vacation

I would not recommend visiting this place. Super busy, lines for everything, expensive like an extra day in your resort (if you are a family of 3). It is beautiful but not worth the trouble and the price. By the way, if you are in zona hoteleira, it is 80km away, when they actually told us 25 minutes away when we bought the tickets. Too comercial, exploration of tourism and nature taken to a next level!

Our group of 7 (adults and teens) had an amazing time here. We purchased reasonably priced admission which included transportation to and from the Cancun “hotel zone”, which was a little over an hour each way in an air conditioned coach bus. This admission package included access to 1 meal at any of their buffet style restaurants which had delicious food and beverages. Be prepared to walk around alot as their park sits on over 150 acres with plenty of things for the whole family. The park itself is so easy to get around as there are color coded paths that lead you to whichever attraction you prefer (river, entertainment shows, animals, water activities, beach access, etc). COVID guidelines like wearing a facemask are still in place. Everything that Xcaret has to offer can be squeezed into one day (9am – 9pm) but stretching the activities out to 2 days would not be a bad idea. Don’t forget to bring the essentials (water shoes, towel, change of clothes, etc) and drink lots of water!
