   Call us crazy but our entire family overall HATED this place. Too hot, sweaty and bug ridden to enjoy. Packed with people and body odor galore. The evening show was very good but spending the rest of the day on site was terrible. Walking on hot pavement with no real direction. In all fairness, you need to plan this excursion out BEFORE you arrive (which we did not do). Almost all the fun activities require reservations and an additional fee (snuba, underwater helmets, speed boats, swimming with the dolphins, etc). If you go without reservations there is a strong chance these activities will be sold out when you arrive. Also, my entire family are certified divers so the helmet and snuba did not make us excited. In fact, the SNUBA tour had the guide feeding the fish out of a can to attract them. Although this will make guests swoon, it is not a sound ecological practice at all!

   Also, if you are not close by, there is A LOT of roadwork going on so count on long commute to the park. We have been to Xplore and Xel Hai and loved these parks. For a family, I would chose either of those over XCaret unless you and your family are seriously into history and archeology.

   This review is exclusive to rate the Night Xcaret show and to give kudos to one of the workers at the park. Our adventure started at Hotel Xcaret concierge desk. My husband and I wanted to reserve the “Dinner Show” package, which the concierge told us it was sold out. We decided to head to the park to see if we were lucky to find a cancellation, but the box office teller told us that the dinner experience was sold out as well and she could not help us. Well, not convince about that response, we decided to enter the park and ask again at one of the “Expericias Xcaret kiosks” outside of the “Xcaret Plus entrance” which has a poster displaying the “Dinner experience”. At the booth the teller VICTOR MANUEL LANDECH GARCIA, was willing to help us to find a space at the venue (by the way, we were celebrating our honeymoon). He went above and beyond to get us a dinner reservation and he got it!!!! Not only that, we had the best seats at the venue. This review is to give kudos to Victor, employees like him deserves to be recognized for his great customer service. The show is a must! All are professional actors and dancers. You will experience the Mexican culture and culinary indulge. You will not regret it.

   This is our third time at this park together. My hubby’s been coming ever since opening. We were surprised that it was so crowded since we’ve not been at any places that r so crowded lately. Mask is required but many ppl don’t even wear correctly. Legitimately so inside the water park is hard. While we were in the river, it was just like pre-COVID and we were all close together. And many masks were floating!! We r vaccinated so not too weary but didn’t feel so comfortable. So avoided to be too close to anyone’s faces. Food at the buffet was good. We just missed here so much.

   We did 2 days at Xcaret Park! So many beautiful attractions to marvel at. We attended with my two children of 9 & 10 and they had an incredible time. We did the Dolphin attraction and nothing but an amazing experience!! The Mexico Spectacular Show is a MUST!!!! So many things still left to explore. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Book your trip there now!!!!

   DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY IN THI PLACE!!!!!
   Place is full of with no direction. I’ve purchase the Xcaret plus admisión snorkeling and dolphin experience.

   First to be fair I am Mexican and hate to talk bad about my own people and attractions. I live from Houston, Tx and decide to visit this place during our stay in Cancun. Our resort was Moon Palace sunrise.

   Xcaret park- All the fun activities are at extra cost and not included with your admission, I know what what you going to say the website promotes “We have over 40 activities to do” fine but if you want to pay to walk and watch silly sculptures, man made outdated things and feel like an outdoor museum then have at it.

   Transportation is terrible be careful the buses they send they love make frequent stops so be ready for a 2 hr trip and feel like you are in a public bus with multiple stops where they drop off other visitors at different hotels. No COVID restriction Xcaret group packs the buses like sardines, but yet expect us to do our part. You guys have to get your act together.

   Dolphins attraction – we visited other dolphins experiences and boy let me tell if you want to pay too dollar for a 15 minute photo shoot than this is for you. Trainers made this experience horrible they were more worried about taking pictures and making sure they sell you something. No infection with dolphins. If I got lucky to touch dolphins a few times . This is not an infection with dolphins like you see in videos. The annoying lady trainer scream all over the place and seem to be very confusing for visitors.

   Snorkeling let just say you better of getting a small smirkingly you’re outside Xcaret the guys say you have 45 min and we got to be in water only for 20min. Before we got in the boat the captain was rushing because they were behind schedule the guides suck, saw some fishes but trust me save your money. My kids were very disappointed since they have a lot of experience in snorkeling and we have done other and this experience sucks.

   Overall excaret is over rated and is a money pit taking money for first time visitors, chatting with others and they agree.
   Xcaret group do something because this won’t last long people and the word will spread that you are running a scam instead of providing people a beautiful experience that will make them come back and spend money in your parks.
