it was an amazing place, I have visited it before and has the same environment that make everyone fall in love with the place. Now with the pandemia it is a bit tricky, it is a very hot place to be, and the water activities make the use of the facemask a bit difficult, however the park crew takes all the possible precautions to allow you being in a safe place, however we do know that going to a place with lots of people is risky, but it is always our decision to stay or don’t go. So I am saying so because there is a lot of people arguing about that. Just enjoy.

We purchased the Xcaret Plus package which included shuttle service to and from your hotel and a free meal with drinks. I did not like how we were hearded to a ticket counter to buy add ons to our trip. Swimming with dolphins, speed boat, etc. Ridiculously long lines for activities that should be included in your ticket given how expensive the entrance was already! we skipped the line, purchased no extras and followed the advice of a fellow traveler and did the river tours first. Because of COVID not all the rivers were open only two . So glad we did because it was not jam packed with people as we saw later in the day. The river tours were memorable and fun! That and the Mexico Expectacular were the highlights of the day. The park is so huge we got all mixed up and had to back track. We made it to the beach and were able to just lounge and relax the rest of the day as we purchased no add ons. Even though there are several restaurants scattered throughout the park. We saw long lines at every one of them. Since our excursion left so early we had no breakfast and were in line by 12 which is the only reason we missed those long , long lines that we saw throughout the day. Our family actually enjoyed Xel-Ha as there were more free activities to do there.

This place was so beautiful and amazing. A little pricey though. You have to pay for a lot of the extra stuff. The food was okay, which was included in the ticket price.

It was our second time visiting xcaret. This should be a one time visit, however, I came here with family and friends who visited for the first time. I would rather go to Xelha multiple times than Xcaret. They have increased their admission ticket which included 1 meal only as compared to unlimited food and drinks at Xelha. They have cultural show throughout the park during the day but the highlight is their night show. They also have add on activities, however, I personally don’t recommend it since it will make your schedule tight for 1 day visit that you won’t have time to see the whole park or to just relax by the beach area or enjoy their hammocks. This place is huge and requires a lot of walking, so make sure to plan your activities during your visit. Get a map of the park and download their app. A photo pass is a MUST!

It was a beautiful experience in contact with nature, we had a great time and we have very good memories of Xcaret!
