Just had my Wedding there, was absolutely amazing. Every worker there goes above and beyond for you, we upgraded to Fuego. Jesùs azcarraga and magaly Garcia were brilliant and made us feel at home, always there when we needed something. honestly can’t thank you enough! See you next year ❤️x

Ignoring the many vendors on 5th Avenue, the shopping malls and small kiosks throughout the area, we chose to go directly to Xcaret and pay the $99 US admission fee. Since we were planning to spend the full day and swim the cenote we also purchased the ‘plus’ package for an additional $35 US in order to have lockers and included life jackets, swim fins and lunch or dinner at any of the 5 buffet restaurants on site.
The park is very large and beautifully maintained and requires a significant amount of walking to see all that it has to offer. Be cautious when you enter the park as there are very persuasive agents selling additional packages for a wide variety of extras. Priced at $50-100 each per person, you can quickly spend far more than you might have expected — and after some walking in the hot Mexican sun, you might soon find yourself too exhausted to participate in all of your non-refundable purchased activities.
As can be expected, food and beverages onsite are somewhat more expensive than anywhere else.

If you could choose only one attraction in Cancun I would choose this one. The natural beauty and the park structure are really amazing. Buy the Plus experience, but the lockers and changing area are far for good. The food was good , the staff not so well trained. Plan your day, the park is very big.

We spent a whole day at Xcaret. We were taken there by a tour bus, that was a bad experience. Once we got there we had to wait about an hour to get wrist bands. It’s really pretty as you walk in. In order to protect yourself from the sun, You have to buy their ridiculously priced sunscreen and bug spray. They scam you out of money for that. For the price you pay to get into the park you would expect a lot more than what you get. Animals to see and shows to watch, but definitely NOT worth that much money or the trip there from Cancun. The Cenotes are way better, for a lot cheaper price.

There is so much to see and do you need a day or more to take it all in. There are even workshops offered throughout the day.
