We booked a day at Xcaret through Amstar at the TRS Coral Play Mujeres

On arrivale we booked the Sea Trek experience, fish therapy and a meal at the show.

Xcaret is incredibly well organised, one is aware of its popularity but there was no sense of it being crowded. The Sea Trek was very well briefed and supervised by a proficient team of divers. The sea life wasvaried and we had to added bonus of seeing an eagle ray and barracuda.

Fish therapy was amazing. We took a 650 m plus swim along one of the rivers. After changing out of our swimming gear we looked at the animal exhibits and aquarium before witnessing the Maya cultural then the excellent equestrian show.

We booked a meal for the evening show, which simply took your breath away.

A brilliant day which overstretched all of our senses.

What a paradise! We enjoyed this park so much. So many animals and nature. We specially loved the dolphin activity! My kids were too excited and cherished every moment. Thanks to Barbie and her dolphin Ixnuk, she was beautiful and kind, they have such special bond and Ixnuki has a baby, Chelsea was super cute and she swam with us, taught us so many things about dolphins & how smart they’re are. They seem well cared and loved, during the activity they even remind us how important it is to take care of our planet! We are planning to come back very soon!

Definitely one of the best day in Mexico!!!
Underground water was totally amazing, me and my boyfriend saw before few Cenote but this river is absolutely amazing! All this park is so so good! Jungle trail, Mayan cemetery, orchid. Everything was amazing! We bought xcaret plus and I highly recommend this option! Buffet was included we choose restaurant with ocean view El Manglar, food was sooo delicious and service omg Enrique and Fidencio the best, helpful,and Enrique prepare definitely the best margarita in my live!!! It was extra charge but absolutely worth! Drink was soo big and so tasty so I recommend!
The last show was really good! Stay for show 😃

I have to say I just can’t for the life of me fathom what the excitement is all about for this place. Reading the reviews prior to going everyone raves about it, but no one really describes it. It costs about $150 CAD just for admission, not including food or transportation. For that you get to visit an indoor butterfly park, see a few caged animals, and do a LOT of walking through very crowded areas. There is also an evening show of traditional singing and dancing that lasts about 30-45 mins The water in the lazy river is bright green and I wouldn’t swim in that even with a full wetsuit.
I’d say the whole experience was worth about $50 and that’s being generous. I was mostly bored and extremely tired walking around. (My Fitbit says I did 18,000 steps that day). The grounds are very dusty and uneven so it’s not even a pleasurable walk.. At the end of the day we were exhausted, thirsty, and hungry. Honestly, I wish I’d skipped it.
