Xcaret park is a very different experience, if you are used to Disney and similar theme parks. The park gives a great Mexico experience, including a cemetary and market, and includes water activities and even a horse show. Great way to spend a day in Mexico.

If you come to Playa del Carmen, you have to go!!! Do not miss the show at night! Better if you buy the plus entrance

Went here in August 2019 and went back December 2019 and enjoyed it jus as much. The animals and the cultural experience was Fabulous. The evening show is a Must.

Don’t take me wrong… the park is beautiful itself but let me explain what’s wrong with that place.. definitely is too expensive and not worth the money. There is not that many animals and those that are already there look very unhappy: turtles swimming in very small pool, a crocodile that doesn’t move at all and looks dead… not mention the cats with mental problems that walk only around on very small area… these are only couple of example of suffering animals, it was so sad to see them!!! For many of the attraction you have to pay extra and as you can imagine is not one of the cheapest place… Also be careful what water you are buying. On attached pictures you can see one of the most expensive water but just to let you know tap water tastes better than that!! Here is some positives: you can find a good place to eat there, river boat was very nice experience… beach areas is very beautiful with amazing view, show/entertainment also very interesting but starts very late and ends very late so We didn’t stay till the end. Very recommended place by many people, for that reason we decided to go there but I wouldn’t go again…

I’ve of the most exciting parks we’ve been to. Sea trek is a breathtaking experience. The buffet had great food. The evening show was very entertaining. We had a blast!
