Theres no words to describe this park, Disney, universal or potter parks must learn form this park, everything is polite and great. The food, the shows are so great. Im so happy to have come here.

A True Nomad – June 9, 2022

We came with my husband during our honeymoon. AMAZING and exceeding my own expectations. I had come over 20 years ago and remembered little of it. This time it will stay forever. We did the under rivers, blue and white roads (aquarium and cultural roads). The night show has no words! And they have been able to integrate technology in the experience in a way I haven’t seen before. Although they do have details that bring me to mix feelings (like offering swim with dolphins and such) the park itself has no words. It is an incredible experience to do in couples, families with kids of all ages, friends. It is just a place for EVERYONE.

My wife and I spent most of the day at the park and really enjoyed it, though we did find it fairly difficult to navigate our way round using the free map we were given at the entrance and using the different colour painted lines on the foot paths, as some of the attractions seemed to be just off the main foot paths. That said we did have a lovely day and saw all the park that we wanted to see. We got there as the park was opening in the morning and were glad we did because it was cooler and less busy for the first few hours we were there, around lunchtime and during the afternoon it became very busy and difficult to use some of the attractions because they were so crowded.
The price seemed expensive when we bought our tickets but given what we saw and the amount of time we were there (also the lovely food we had for lunch which was included in our ticket price), it wasn’t so expensive.
I would recommend this attraction but get there as the park opens to get the best enjoyment from it.

We booked only the nightime show online. There were different online discount offerings which we took advantage of. Since we were staying close to Playa Del Carmen, a taxi for 4 of us was $15 each way versus the $20 each add on with a ticket purchase. The night show gets you in at 4pm. Well worth it to check things out. We saw the horse show, butterflies and Mayan village show. You wouldn’t be able to do much else. Would skip the pole show as its included in the night show. Seating for the night show filled up fast so suggest getting in for 6.30pm. Not really a bad seat in the place. No issues in getting a taxi at the end. Back to the hotel in 15 minutes. Would consider a full day next time.

It is a nice place but … overcrowded and overpriced … on low season; everything is done to squeeze as much money as possible from your pockets in a short period of time. There are many “extra” activities that you can purchase, dolphins, sharks etc.
There is nothing natural in my humble opinion at XCARET, everything was built to attract tourists.
The photo package 🙂 you can pay to advertise XCARET. All photos that you will take will have the XCARET brand on and you are encouraged to share them 🙂 at the end the question is … it is wort it? I think yes. If you adjust your expectations and you have kids with you it is fun.
