Awesome, it really takes all day to see this place and enjoy it to the max. The food was delicious and reasonable I ate at restaurant # 43 on the park map it was seafood all you can eat and drink it was included with the ticket I paid for, also snorkeling was included in the ticket as well. I didn’t go because I didn’t feel physically fit enough for it ,I was trying to conserve my energy LOL. It’s an amazing experience and beautiful place. It’s family friendly too. The show is also included with the ticket it’s all about Mexico and enjoyable.

You first get there to explore the cenote and that’s a unique experience. Then you’ll discover a fabulous world where animals, birds , turtles and fishes are amazing , protected and cared for. Not to forget the historical Mayan touch of old villages and local art craft.
A must go family destination when around

For older people we feel the Apiary and evening show were the very best part. We would recommend the Seafood restaurant for lunch.

This is a great park to visit. We were staying at the Occidental Xcaret and this is like a 5-8min walk next door. We floated on 2 of the 3 rivers (Rio Maya and Rio Manate). Rio Maya has a bit more of the cave/underground, but lots of waterfall-ish area. Rio Manate goes under the theater and more open area like the spa/massage place. Warning, there are bats in some of these which is fine, but may freak some of you out. I suggest you wear water shoes if you have one, otherwise its not a big deal. Also, waterproof camera case. We bought just the regular park pass and opted OUT of the xcaret plus. The plus gives you access to one buffet and lockers. As mentioned, were staying next door so we just walked back and ate lunch and came back. There’s no need for lockers, they will store your bags on duffel bags and give you the key at the start of the river (where you get your life vest) and will transfer it to the exit point. There is a shower and changing room that is accessible to all. We walked a way back to the start of the river to do the second run. Your wrist band will have a barcode and there are scanners along the river and park to take your pictures. My advise, take as many pictures as you can. Whether you have 10 or 50, its the same price at the end.
The animal displays were well kept. The aquarium side is excellent. Lots of giant turtles and baby turtles can be seen. The dolphins in this area is for swimming with them and pictures for additional fee.
The evening performance was awesome and very well done. Its 2hrs long with a 10min intermission. The first part depicts the mayan history up to the landing of explorers and onto the old Mexican way of life. The second part shows the cultures of the different states/region of Mexico. As I mentioned, it was very well done.

We had medium expectations for this park, as we had never heard of anyone who had been here. This blew us away! What a trip! So great for kids. Aquatic animals, float through underwater caves, adventure activities, kids water area, historic sites, performances and workshops all with the same admission. We absolutely loved it here- we did the week access pass and stayed in the adjacent occidental hotel- highly recommend, as we walked back and forth with repeated entry every day.
