This was the first time I ever traveled to Mexico, I went with my family and I asked in the reception of the hotel I was staying in if they could recommend me a water park and without thinking twice they said XCARET. According to Mexicans it is a place like Disney World to them but in my opinion this has more culture than an amusement park. This is a theme park with a bit of flora and fauna in the region and all the cultural and musical history. One the best parts in this parks is that you can swim with dolphins you can also visit the aquarium that is worth it and thebutterfly garden that was amazing.

Was apprehensive when I looked at this place at home in the uk. When we got there (México) the wife looked and insisted we booked it. Even though it was expensive I’m glad she did. Lots to see and the evening show is a must. I will say when we were there it was under occupied due to world events so I may have a slightly misconception of how crowded it was. The evening show is a must, we had the dinner option and while it was nice feel we were distracted from the show by the food.

You need to plan your visit and where you want to eat at the buffet. Well worth the all you can eat buffet. Don’t bother with food at night you will miss parts of the show.

There is a lot of walking entailed but so much to see. The river was our favorite. They provide bags for your items and meet you at the end with them. Definitely go for the photo package. Many places to push a button to take photos including the river. You can get all images for consecutive days for about $80. Such a steal! Night time show is very beautiful if not a bit lengthy but very well worth it.

Was not picked up until 2:30pm by the company’s shuttle bus. After an hour drive we were not told by the company when booking the excursion that most of the extra activities closed at 4:30-5:00. We were also not told that all of the extras including the snorkel gear would cost extra money. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

So much to do here! The nightly show at 7:00 is a must see. Nothing here will disappoint! We had a week pass it found something to do everyday and still missed some things!
