I booked the two day Tour, day one at Xcaret and day two at Xplor. As a part of the package, we were provided round-trip transportation to and from the park to our resort. The park contacted my through my email to schedule a pick-up time. My ticket to Xcaret included access to lockers and lunch. This was very valuable because we had a location to keep our dry clothes when not in the river, and the buffet lunch would have cost us an additional $30 dollars per person. The food was delicious! There are other places to eat in the park, but I didn’t take advantage of any of these.
I would suggest waiting to walk the river and caves during the heat of the day in the afternoon. There are two caves to follow and I wish I had taken advantage of walking/swimming both of them. The shows in the late afternoon are worth the time, if you can visit the rest of the park before they start. DON’T miss the Spectacular in the evening! The show is amazing and a wonderful tribute to the Mexican history and culture. I was a bit tired after a long day of walking in the hot sun to sit in a large arena on a thin padded seat with no air conditioning, but the entertainment was worth the time. Everyone was required to wear a mask but social distancing was not enforced
Xplor was an amazing park, and was surprised to see that many of the trails between the activities was under ground surrounded with stalagmites and stalagtites. My favorite activity was the Zip-line because the scenery was beautiful and a few of the runs picked up quite a bit of speed. They do ensure your safety, but be sure to follow their rules. I put my feet down at the end of one fast run and slammed my feet to the floor, bruising my feet.
I wore river shoes throughout the entire park and I wouldn’t recommend anything else. You run into water everywhere. Most activities I could do twice because I arrived early to the park and stayed until 4pm before the Xflor Fuego group came in. The buffet at Xplor was really good and the BBQ Ribs was my favorite. Lunch was included in the price. Bring your own towel. Lockers were provided. The crew that picks you up will help you locate your driver after the tour is over. We were picked up from our hotel at 7:30 and then we left the park at 4 or so, which gave us plenty of time to do most activities twice at an easy pace.
I would purchase this package again.

This was one of my favorite tours booked! The butterfly section, the pumas & Jaguar section, the tropical animals, the beach, the cemetery, the church and lastly the show. I really enjoyed the cemetery with the vibrant colors and messages to loved ones, the creativity for the headstones were so great! Like I said before Mexico takes the lead for vibrant colors on everything. The church was so cool and looked so realistic with the cutouts of celebrities. The show takes the wheel! The story behind it and the way it moved from one point in life to another. The beautiful costumes and the amazing voices that sang. Everything was very well thought out! I can not forget my amazing spa experience. Honestly as much as I want to remember the name of my masseuse I can not. But I will not forget his hands! I decided to go with the 50min massage and it was not enough. Very soothing with an open cave and waterfall and of course the sound of nature. There was so much more I didn’t get to see but honestly the experience was enough, well worth the money spent.

Worse customer service on the planet. We spent $700 to book our family to go to Xcaret. My sister and her family wanted to join us, so we called Xcaret to reschedule to another day, which Xcaret approved. Then my sister purchased $800 for her family to also go to Xcaret with us… then we received an email from Xcaret saying we were not approved to change our date. So now we are unable to attend with my sister and her family, nor can we attend on the original date, so we are out $700. Xcaret wasted hours of our life on the phone promising they could move us, then backed out, after my sister booked her family, and refused to fix the problem they created. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! BEWARE!!!

Xcaret is an amazing place, a definite must-do for any tourist visiting the Cancun area. This place is a well designed nature/eco-tourism theme park. Mexicans have done a great job building this place they should be very proud it is a highlight in any vacation to the country. In addition to the 50 or so attractions the park offers for the entrance fee, we also chose 3 optional adventure activities that sent our trip here over the top! We got to swim and interact with sting rays, walk underwater wearing diving bells(Sea Trek), and we rode in the speed boat Adrenalina(best water ride ever!). Overall our one day trip here was very enjoyable and memorable.
