So much fun at this park. One day is not enough time to see it all. The views were amazing, the food was good & the staff were so helpful.

I went to Xcaret two years ago for just the afternoom, so when my wife and I chose Cancún as our honeymoon destination I knew i had to take her there.
We spent the whole day there and had a blast. They took serious precautions due to COVID, so we felt safe at all times. You have to try the underground river and the shows. The food was great and they really give you a premium service.
If you ate in the area Xcaret is a must do. Of course, you can’t miss the evening show: the history of México.
Hope to be back again soon, Xcaret. Keep it up.

If you’re in the area you have to go.
Food is great, service is unparalleled and the attractions are as good as they can be. Choose the day with food and transportation since you’ll be their the whole day. And whatever you do, DONT MISS THE NIGHT SHOW.

This park is beautiful and you can really spend the whole day just wandering around doing the different activities. The park shuttle picked me up around 7am and by 9:30am I was in the park and in the first underground river. I was literally the only person in the river at that time. However, I went to another around noon and it was insanely crowded. I was swimming alone and I kept getting stuck in large family groups, and seeing as you can’t wear a mask while swimming, this wasn’t particularly safe. The park “strongly suggested” mask use at all other times but it was simply too crowded to actually be coronavirus-safe.
Pros: Stunning underground rivers, good snorkeling, beautiful aviary and butterfly section, and an absolutely incredible night show about Mexican culture/history (stay for this no matter how tired you are, it’s so worth it).
Cons: The snack prices were ridiculous. A bag of chips, which usually costs $12 to $15 MXN, costs $50 here. A beer, which usually costs $15, was $69 pesos here. Lunch wasn’t quite as expensive (I didn’t buy the buffet) as I paid $220 MXN for some very well-served chicken fajitas. That didn’t include any drinks, however. And finally the last con is the crowds. It’s not coronavirus safe and it’s also annoying to constantly get stuck in throngs of people taking selfies at all the designated photo stops, etc. If there’s any time of year when it’s less crowded, go then!
Lastly, if you’re choosing between Xelha and Xcaret, in my experience Xelha is far better for swimming and for food (it’s all inclusive), while Xcaret is best if you want a family-friendly day with Mexican cultural experiences.

This park was amazing. Lots of walking. Plenty to see & do. You don’t have to get wet if you go. We just went and it was pretty chilly so the water part wasn’t appealing to us. We did bring swimsuits and extra clothes just in case. There are lockers to put your things if you choose to go into the river or just walk around. I would recommend tennis shoes if you don’t go into water. You will be doing lots of walking and climbing steps.
The individual food places are quite good. Better than the buffets. The evening show is very good, but a bit long. Bring a light jacket for that, as it is quite chilly in the evening (December). Even long pants would be comfortable.
Boarding the busses afterwards was very organized.
Its worth going to this park!!!
