IT’S NOT WORTH IT!!! The entrance as is, is way too expensive for what it includes. Basically every extra activity it has, is almost $100 extra each. We honestly regret going so bad, it’s not worth it whatsoever. Food is not good, very few things you can actually do with the regular entrance, and every other activity is way too pricey. Every animal in captivity has very bad treatment. Pumas look stressed. Animals get very little space which is really bad for them. People are not careful with COVID! Never again will I go back. Worst park I’ve ever been too.

This excursion was so much fun. Well at least our package was. We swam through a huge river/cenote and did more fun things. It was very fun and definitely recommend.

It was a nice time to get away from al the COVID-19 craziness and forget about the would outside. I really like doing all of these activities, even though the majority are for family and kids, me and my boyfriends found some amazing activities that we both really enjoyed.

Xcaret is a great combination of wildlife (some animals are uncaged), Mexican culture, and water park activities. The additional “dream activities” (i.e., Sea Trek, Spa, etc.) cost extra. Near the main entrance, a breakfast buffet with a very nice variety of food is an optional purchase for under $15 USD per person. The ‘average’ adult should be able to cover all areas of the park in one day as long as they limit their extra selected activities to 2-4. Portable paper maps of the park are not provided and the permanent complete maps of the park are spread around the park, but mostly not where there needs to be one. There are plenty of directional arrows for individual sites (such as the Bat Cave), however, many of those specific locations don’t have their own identifying sign so it’s not uncommon to follow an arrow, unknowingly pass the site, and then see an arrow with the site’s name pointing back to where you came from. The “floating river” offers little reward for the effort…but you can always give it a try and use one of the river’s numerous exits as soon as you find it to be boring. Be sure to check out each hut of the replica ancient Mayan village so that you don’t miss seeing a displayed tricycle which appears to have been made in the 1950’s. Of all the “dream activities”, I chose the Dolphin Experience and recommend it as it appears that the dolphins are well-treated…and the trainers treated their human guests in excellent fashion as well. There are many other quality attractions (Aviary, Children’s World, Coral Reef Aquarium, etc.) that are included in the basic ticket package. This park gives you a wide variety of value for the money!

Only complaint is i wish they would have not put in so many lights in the caves makes it seem fake. They used to be dark
