Coming here after Xplor is a continuation of the experience. I found myself more relaxed in Xel-ha and rightfully so as the park included bars. Now THIS is paradise. Downing margaritas between adventures? Count me in! Nothing was missed at this park either. I’m so proud of my 6yo for swimming/snorkeling the length of that river. Even with lifejackets and all, it’s a big swim! The zip-bikes were fun and I only wish that journey lasted longer. We did pay for a delphinus experience for my 16yo. A magical moment for her and well worth it. And these buffets do NOT disappoint. I cannot wait to return to Cancun to experience the rest of the Xcaret parks. I’m forever impressed! These parks are rare gems and ain’t no great America or Disney gon ever compare! *snap snap*

Sort of wish we were able to swim with the dolphins and then leave. That was the best part of our visit. The facilities, grounds and attractions were clean and nice. Snorkeling was just ok because the water wasn’t clear. They explain why it’s blurry. It’s really too bad because there were a ton of fish and sting rays! The kids liked the water slide. Nice that it was all inclusive and the service was good. But, it was really crowded and it felt like a typical cattle call excursion. If there were less people it may have been more enjoyable.

We visited Xel Ha as a multi-generational group while staying on the Riviera Maya. There were plenty of activities for everyone. The Lazy River was problematic for some, because of the lazy quality. If we did it again, we would take snorkel equiptment and use the fins for propulsion the snorkel equiptment provided is very minimal. We would take our own if we were to go again. We did see some huge parrot fish and skates and rays. They really do a good job of managing tons of people! The food in the Mexican Restaurant was surprisingly good…..tamales and other authentic foods. Also, great service! Our grandson loved the cliff jump and the lighthouse slide. We all enjoyed walking on the paths and seeing the rays and the manatees. The view from the top of the lighthouse is spectacular. We enjoyed the day, but probably will not go back there another year.

Omg, only 1 word – FUNNNNN!!!! This water park was A BLAST!!! It was a full day of fun and worth every penny.
I booked a day here at a local booking store, I think. The price included transportation, and free food and drinks. YESSSS. Free alcohol 🤙🏻
However you book it, be ready for a full busy time. I would also suggest looking online for what they have regarding activities so you can make the most of your day. There’s plenty of free stuff to do with your admission, but the really fun stuff you have to pay for. The dolphin swims, zip line bike, snuba dive in a cenoté, and others require further payment. I can say this though, it’s worth it.
The place is HUGE. Lots of walking. You can bike to the beginning of the lazy river which has fun things to do along the river. Jump off a couple cliffs. Zip lines. Rope ladders and swings. All kinds of stuff. There a GIGANTIC water slide they call The Lighthouse. HOLY MOLEY, YOU FLY DOWN THAT BAD BOY. The view from the top is incredible. The hikes are pretty. The floating bridge is funny to walk across when the tides are shaking it.
The food and drinks, pretty darn good, no complaints.
It was a a fun filled day for the young at heart, the parents and all the kids. Definitely go if you have the chance 🤙🏻🤙🏻

Visited Xel-Ha for the third time. My daughters (21 and 23) really enjoyed the zip bikes. While they were busy with that I had a deep tissue massage in the Spa area. It was a good massage and felt very peaceful ensconced by jungle and the sounds of nature. The price of the massage was a bit over the top for massages in Mexico (I normally have them done on the beach for much less), but it was relaxing and a way to pass the time. My daughters loved the zip bikes and wished there had been more scanners for pictures and so they could have had pictures taken from the vantage of the bikes looking down at the view.
The lighthouse/water slide had amazing views. Not sure I would recommend the slide to anyone unless you are a real daredevil. There is no gradual pick up on the speed but is at the maximum from top to bottom. Almost felt as if I might pass out at a point and then it was over.
Overall, an another fantastic experience. Love Xel-Ha! 💕
