We had a lovely time at Xcaret! It really began in the morning, the bus arrived on time and left promptly. In my experience, tour buses often wait for the arrival of everyone despite being 10-20 minutes late to the departure time. My specific tour bus left at the time was stated as he stated that we all woke up early and paid to be at Xcaret so that was what he was getting us.
He then proceeded to tell us all the helpful tips to get the most out of the park in a day. This was super helpful as we were able to enjoy popular attractions and saved time.
I only booked a ticket for one day but planned to be back! We definitely did not get to do everything we wanted to do! There was just so much!

There is so much to do here, but we got there late and did not see a lot. We wanted to go back, but time was not on our side since we had so many other things planned! Will definitely go back though.

This was a nice day to learn about some of the conservation efforts in place at Xcaret for turtles, macaws, butterflies, and more. The lazy river was a great way to move from one end of the park to another (they even bring your items in a locked bag to the other end for you). The turtle habitat left me feeling sad though, the water was quite dirty and the enclosure small, but all other aspects seemed well maintained. The highlight of this tour was the Mexican lunch buffet and especially the evening performance, which I would say was outstanding. If I could make a recommendation, I would say to go later in the day and check out an exhibit or two (butterflies and aviary) then eat and go to the show. Otherwise it was a long day.

I hope NO ONE has to experience the First Aid like I did but I had to take the time to write a review. On day 2 of our trip, I was following a tour bus leader across a street to load up and head to Xcaret. I was SO excited to finally visit this place I’ve read so much about. As I was following him across the street I missed a hole in the street and I fell! I jumped up right away, but could tell something was wrong. The tour guide was talking and joking the entire way to Xcaret but I was just trying to focus on not fainting :). Long story short, we were dropped off at Xcaret and I immediately went to first aid. They were closed until noon but they took care of me right away. I immediately felt at ease, even though I was in so much pain. This group knew what they were doing. They strongly advised I visit a private hospital and the supervisor of First Aid even drove us there. He stayed until they brought in a specialist and we were so grateful. My elbow was fractured, I had a cast put on and the rest of our vacation was plan B. The team at Xcaret is truly first class. I cannot say enough about the care I received. I hope this thank you gets to them. Someday I hope to make it to Xcaret, it’s still on my bucket list.
