We have been to Xcaret several times and each time is so special. There is so much to do, so much fun that one time just isn’t enough. There is an aquarium, sea turtles, snorkeling, the best entertainment show at night, and so much more!!! You get a little taste of many parts of Mexico all in one spot!!!

Transportation was excellent and on time, information regarding what to do and when was very helpful, the food was delicious and despite the weather we had a fulfilling experience. The show and the photo package pictures were our favorites.

If you like crowds and lines and expensive stuff even by American standards, this is your place. If not, my experience was that it was too pricy and allowed in way too many people for too small a park.

Traffic from mid-hotel zone in Cancun to Xcaret was horrific (lines of vehicles inching along thru construction = 110 minute trip). Then a 1 hour line in the blazing sun to get your wristband (before getting in a line, confirm it feeds into more than 1 open window – ours had 1 open teller whereas other lines seemed to have 2+). Once in, crowded paths snaked in every direction. The river is cool, but there was not enough room in the river to avoid getting constantly kicked, bumped, or swam over (they apparently do not regulate river access in any way to try to space people apart). The lines were very long no matter the activity, but especially the restaurants, which was Golden Corral quaility, and depending on the item the servers refused to give you more than a small portion, forcing you to eat up and get back in line (did I mention, lines everywhere?). Btw, if you dont have a mask at a restaurant, it’s $3 per mask to be admitted. Everything extra is priced to kill- think of a fair price that you’d pay for an item in the States, and multiply by 2 or 3. Only upside was that the show was good- very talented dancers etc.

Unless you live in Manhattan, you will feel very crowded here. And also duped for paying so much to feel like a lemming. Sorry, that’s my lived truth.

BREATH TAKING !!! So much culture so many activities and the beautiful water!!!! The buffet was trash but I was not there too eat! No drinks available so make sure u take money which I thought was ridiculous for the price the food n drinks should be included
