Very crowded park with the “highlight” being the animals. Prior to visiting the park, I was excited as I had seen/heard about the various “rescued” animals at the park and the turtle/macaw program. However, it was a rude awakening to arrive at the park and find sea creatures (turtle and manatees especially) kept in very small enclosures, and macaws that had likely had their wings clipped, as they just sat in the same spot all day.

Wow, this place is AWESOME. Do your homework before you come, because you can’t do it all. We went all out and did the Dolphin Ride activity… you have to reserve it in advance. It is a once in a lifetime experience for sure. The new “kids area” is great… the adventure water slide was a hit with my six year old. And we all LOVED the lazy river … three different trails… so nice and cool and relaxing! Many of the other activities cost money… so again, read up ahead of time and pick the ones you want to do. One thing we screwed up on was that we didn’t get a reservation for dinner with the show… so we tried to eat before the show, but we were late and ended up not going to the show. Get your reservation for dinner in when you first arrive, or make sure to give yourselves plenty of time to change before eating. We also liked the new bird exhibit and butterfly area. Be prepared to do a lot of walking… got 20,000+ steps in that day!!!

Absolutely amazing! I recommend this to anyone! It was very fun and enjoyable. The place is very clean, staff are very friendly, and nature is phenomenal!

We were there on May 31, 2021. We were shocked at the number of people at the park. There are signs relating to COVID 19 such as physical distancing, wearing a mask,.. hardly any one of the were followed and nobody to enforce any of it.

We purchased the Xcaret Plus. nothing especial. save your money and get the regular admission.

Most of the water activities were packed and over-crowded if such a thing exist. In the floating rivers and senotes people were kicking each other in the face and other sensitive areas and there is no sense of self control (pushing and shoving) we told the only attendant we found who clearly spoke English. His answer was always, I am sorry, nothing I can do!!! Needless to say we were pretty unhappy and felt we were being taken advantage of by the park advertising how responsible they are especially during COVID and the precautions they took and are taking. None exists… Just an additional example, we were in line to check-in for our lunch and the person who is supposed to be the hostess all she cared about is people standing about six feet away from her desk. she did not bother to make sure that people were wearing masks or physical distancing.

However, we enjoyed the walk by Jaguar and Puma islands. Also, the Aviary was amazing. Not crowded at all compared to most of the park. this is the only reason I gave this park 3 out of 5 instead of 1 out of five.
