Really great place to spend time with the whole family. Although we went there already in the early morning and were until late at night, we still did not have enough time to see all the places. When you visit Xcaret and its latest show, you will get a brief overview of the nature and culture of Mexico.

Xcaret, by far is my favorite place to visit in Mexico. We get unlimited passes every year for the two weeks we visit Mexico. We go every morning for a few hours and it never gets old. We ALWAYS find something new to see and explore!

I have the natural beauty of the park. It is well worth a day exploring and spend some time floating down the hidden river as well as visiting the Mayan cemetery. There are smaller shows and demonstrations throughout the day, but the grand finale is the spectacular. It starts about 7pm. You may want to wait a bit and walk when its dark. The paths are lined with men and women in Mayan costumes near torches. The show is two hours that stars with the Mayan beliefs about creation and end with the Mexican revolutions with songs and dance or other cultural aspects from many Mexican states. This is my third time in about 10 years, and each time the show is a little different but a bit better.

Very enjoyable. Had a nice mix of cultural activities and wildlife. The river was very enjoyable. We will go back again.

After you check in, they’ll try to upsell you on other activities. We decided to do the nurse shark experience, which was very enjoyable and my 11 & 13 year old boys really enjoyed it. We purchased the admission that includes lockers and lunch, so we got changed and did the underground river swim. It was so nice and refreshing. Get the flippers! The current is almost non existent, so you’ll need them if you want to move at a decent pace. We checked out most of the park before getting caught in a thunderstorm. That put a damper on things, as it lasted a couple of hours. It also, caused us to miss the white route, as we soakenly made our way to the Espectacular show. It was really well done and I can see why it gets good reviews. It’s a well run organization and I’d recommend going. The only reason it’s not getting a 5 is because of a staff member at the shark experience asking for a tip at the end.
