There wasn’t as much to do as I had hoped for. The river cenote was pleasant, the buffet included in our ticket was quite good and the Night Show was Wonderful! If I did it again ( which I probably will not) I would buy the less expensive night admission from 4PM. I was not traveling with kids so the ATV n Zip Lines were not of interest.

I enjoyed the nature trail walks, subterranean river swim and Mayan village and especially seeing the sea turtles.

The description of basic package seemed to list snorkel equipment as an inclusion but these actually needed to be rented separately if you did not get the more deluxe package which also included a buffet lunch.

As I prefer smaller meals, I expected more ala carte meal options but these were very limited so had to purchase buffet lunch for $30 a person. Food was delicious with a lot of variety but would have preferred a lighted less expensive option. If one has dietary restrictions and one doesn’t want a huge meal, I recommend packing a lunch if possible.

I booked our tickets before we left the US. The website was a bit difficult to navigate for what we anted. I bought one Plus ticket and two Plus tickets with added activities. I couldn’t do it in all one transaction so had to make two separate tickets. I did not choose the transportation option because our hotel was not listed so we took a taxi.

Once we were there we were quickly admitted and on our way. The underground river was fun (if a bit terrifying for this non swimmer). There were ropes along the walls to help guide us through (it was my lifeline). We talked about going back to the beginning and choosing a different path. Lunch was amazing. The butterfly pavilion and aviary was really cool. Sea turtles, dolphins and sharks! My husband and daughter snorkeled while I sat in a chair in the shade and watched the crashing waves! We had a leisurely morning but spent all afternoon there. We all wore long sleeve swim tops and I’m glad we had them. The water in the river is cool and we were fairly protected from the sun.

Swimming in the river was incredible, everything was attractive in the water such as fish, animals, etc. It felt like swimming in a very real and exciting channel.

I had the opportunity to do the whole activity with my friends and we would definitely do it again.
