I bought a bus tour package here from my hotel for me and my daughter it was 360 American dollars. we had to wake up at 6:30 AM to be on the bus at 7:15 and got to the park an hour later. you have the option of being picked up at 4:30 and missing all the shows or 930 at night and getting home after 10 PM. we were exhausted by 2 PM being in the heat not being able to see the shows because of the long day. If you go on their website it says a ticket is $50. If you have at least a group of four I would recommend hiring your own taxi and sharing the cost and getting your $50 ticket at the park. After you purchase your park ticket you will see that you have many options to add onto your ticket , everything the park advertises are all extra fees except for the underwater river and sight seeing. If you purchase any beverage like a piña colada margarita or even a slushy for your child they give it to you in a five dollar plastic cup upping the price of the drink making it cost $10. It’s a very expensive day.

We booked it thinking it was more of an outdoors experience or more extreme and that was on us. This is simply a zoo, 3 lazy rivers a beach area and historical sites. The park is beautiful but there is nothing to do besides that, some people said you need at least a day but we did everything in 5 hours. Out of the 50 excursions offered there are around 10 that have extra fees, besides the $100. Food inside was extremely overpriced from $30 each person for a buffet and $11 frozen drinks.
This is something very family friendly and if you have kids it’s a great option. If you are active and want more adventure this is not it.

Absolutely outstanding experience. From the original booking to the hotel pickup, to orientation, upgrade of our tickets, scheduling the many activities and getting through the day, everything was flawless, well organized. The park was very clean. Food at the buffet was outstanding. All staff was very accommodating and helpful. Attractions were easy to find, you luggage was hauled for you while you were swimming across the park. Even non-swimmer did perfectly well. Life vests, water shoes, snorkels, waterproof camera holders, everything was available on site. The animal encounters were adorable. The end-of-the night show was spectacular, 2 hours long and educational. The 7-course gourmet meal was a feast for the senses. I can’t say enough. This is a must-have experience.

This was a great day out, slightly expensive and the food was not included in our ticket which meant we spent around 110 GBP for the day. It was worth it though and very fun. We seemed to go on a good day (Sunday) so no areas were too busy or overcrowded. The show at the end was also magnificent.

What an amazing adventure! Everything at Xcaret was set up so “tourist” friendly! It was easy to navigate and everyone was so friendly and helpful! We traveled with a 4 year old and did the dolphin experience which was one we will never forget! Also, if you go, don’t hesitate to get the photo package where you can scan your wristband throughout the park and it’ll take pictures for you! It’s 100% worth it! 10/10 would recommend this place!
