Highly recommend this park whether you are coming solo, family or couple. They have way more activities than you can do in a single day! Highly recommend their ‘Mexico Spectacular’ show that takes place every night. We did the Mayan river swim, and it was great too! I would recommend using flippers if you want to move quickly/comfortably and save some time for other activities. We are vegetarians, and they made accommodations for us at the Yucatanese restaurant. Customer service was above and beyond, book directly from xcaret site. We also took the Xcaret Plus package which was useful since they give lockers and lunch included. Must do! Just go for it!

Avoid we finally got in the park 4 half hours after being picked up!. Once dropped at the entrance no one told us what was happening. The tour guides just left everyone. After 45 min’s of standing around we finally got our wrist bands after asking 4 times what was happening. Our day was wasting away!. Your told what to do in what order!.absolutely manic!. Lockers were so far away from changing room and so small.don’t take a big bag!. You are herded around like cattle! . Once in the underground river your couldn’t swim as so many were in it. You get sliced to bits off other people’s swim flippers. We bailed out near the end it was to much. You have to walk with no shoes on on very uncomfortable stones underfoot. We didn’t get much information of what happens or what you do it was awful!!!. The food was awful!!!.Wouldn’t feed a dog it. We were told we had unlimited soft drinks all day. No this is not the case it’s unlimited at the time your sat in the restaurant once you leave it’s void. False info. They also get you to buy all these insect sprays and bands. Not needed. The big cats were very unhappy walking round with their heads down obviously very bored and looking so sad. This broke my heart as it showed they were clearly not happy. If your a cat lover you know the body language. Moving on to the horse show. . .was OK until they got a horse to go round and round for ages. Clearly seeing it getting dizzy. Once or twice not bad but the poor horse had no choice but to do as it was told. Utter cruelty! . We left after that as it was to much to take in. The night time show was a bit slow starting and did get better in time. Prob do better if people were sat at tables having a meal and having that in the back going on. But that’s just my opinion. Once the show was over it was manic!.big stampede to get out. Absolutely awful. We had to head in 1 direction for our coach but you couldn’t get to it with the crowd.we were finally put on our coach and told we were getting dropped off at our hotel. .nope we were dumped in the middle of no where and left to pay even more money for a taxi to our hotel!. My advise save your money it’s not worth it at all. Very disappointed!.

My family and I visit Mexico every year in December and this year was the first visit to Xcaret Park… We typically visit the other parks but I had read about the shows,etc…was excellent… I have to say the SHOWS are EXCELLENT! and the Park is Beautiful!! but I didn’t care for the guides for Special Excursions we paid extra for the Snuba in the ocean was a COMPLETE DISASTER and Waste of Money … they took us out a family of four with our adult kids and basically threw you in the open ocean no where near the reef of fish with our boats holding the air tanks tied together so we spent all of the excursion tangled in air hoses and a guide who didn’t speak good English & pretend to not understand our broken Spanish and who did nothing to help get us untangled my sons HATED it … We were VERY Disappointed and was wishing we had not wasted our money …. those extra activities are to expensive to not have a great time or experience. There’s no refunds and they really didn’t care that we didn’t get to experience snuba because of tangled disaster I feel like they created by connecting the 2 boats and having one guide considering we had just did the snuba cave dive at Xel-Ha 2 days before but actually down in Cenote Cave and it was an Awesome Experience but the Guides made all the difference in the world! We also did the Speed Boat which was a lot of Fun w/the exception that guides never explained anything we were about to experience or needed to prepare for in English ONLY SPANISH & their was one other group that was from Canada and they didn’t understand any Spanish at all!

If look closely in the photo I can’t even dive down I’m tangled caught in the lines ( air hose) of my husband and my son with blue line to my left are tangled and can’t dive down and the guide in back ground watching like he did the entire time NOT ! we were out in the ocean fighting tangled air hoses …Pictures DON’T LIE!! There’s 2 people on yellow, 2 people on blue could post more photos of the disaster…but you can see photos of the snuba Xel-Ha experience and it was completely different with Trained Professional!!

Kids loved it. Ran out of time to see and do everything. We (adults) did do parasailing and the sea trek. Some stayed for the show but mom left with the 3 year old back to hotel. Too long of a day.

It was an exceptional experience. All the park provides excellent service to visitors, attention, diligence, all the time with a smile. I appreciated the personal speaks more than one language and ready to help visitors.
I like how clean the place is. All the shows First class.
