Great visit, mostly relaxing and traditional zoo in mexico with the exception of the night show. If you are looking for a great culture sampler of Mexico attend the night show. Get there early for the best seats and enjoy the short dances from all regions in Mexico!
Horse show is also spectacular and can be enjoyed while eating at their restaurant.

We have been to this park on 4 different occasions. We have been there only during the daytime because we did the trips as an excursion from cruise ship. We would love to see the place at night.
It is a lot of fun and there are many activities to do. The food is very good and quite a few different places to get something to eat or drink. It is exhausting because of all the different areas to visit. I don’t think it can all be done in less than a couple of visits

Everything was great Entrance process, all the activities and super show I will shorten a little bit the first part and I put either, the fire ball game or the bool game but not the 2 of them, except that it was great

We took our 8 yr old daughter here a long time ago and it was a wonderful experience. We snorkeled through underground caves. Saw animals, and donned rain ponchos to splash around the entire park for the day. Kids will love this!

Xcaret is a must-do destination if you’re visiting the Riviera Maya. We had a 5 day all inclusive park pass which was fantastic as our resort Occidental Xcaret was right next door so we could come and go throughout the day as we pleased. There were two entrances just for guests of this resort – it was super convenient. You could walk into the park in under 10 minutes from your room.
There is SO much to see and do – l would not want to squeeze it into less than 2 days but you certainly could. It’s much more economical to buy a pass for 5 days too. Note: that kids over 12 are considered adults at Xcaret and will be charged accordingly. My 16 yr old was a child at our resort but had to pay full adult price to enter Xcaret.
There are animals throughout the park some hands on experiences will cost you extra such as dolphins, sharks and stingrays etc. We did not purchase the Xcaret Plus package since we could easily come and go back and forth to our resort and didn’t need meals or lockers etc.
The evening show gets full fast! We were there on New year’s day and the park was absolutely dead BUT the nightly show was still a full house
Be sure to get there before the 7 o’clock start! There is a 10 minute intermission after the first 40 minutes or so of the two hour event.
The rivers were fun but beware that a number of them travel underground in relative darkness. There are some ropes and lights to guide you but l don’t think the park tells you enough about the underground experience upfront. That said there are exits every few hundred meters if you feel you need to stop. One bonus instead of renting a locker for $20 USD while you go down the river is that you can use a free locked bag. You place your belongings into the bag and it is locked in front of you and they give you a key and a bag number. At the end of the river you tell them the bag number and give them the key to retrieve your stuff – it’s perfect!
Such a great experience. You won’t regret visiting!!!
