Spend at least two days if you can…..There is no way to stay upright and experience the entire experience in one day! We loved the underground rivers in particular.

We had a vacation home in Playa del Carmen for 16 years so we have visited Xcaret on several occasions. Itwas always enjoyable. During Covid, it was not quite as much fun. They only had one river open and it was crowded. The food was not very good, but I think it is because of Covid and the serving restrictions. I would recommend visiting here, but maybe wait until everything is open.

Xcaret park was fun they have so many things to look at from the Mayan Pueblo aviary butterfly sanctuary and so on the food was good we ate at the Laguna restaurant buffet the evening show is great, the only downside is that the speed boat dolphins and sea trek activities all have an additional charge after admission and those are some of the main attractions, so be prepared for a high additional fee at the gate for extra activities.

The only thing we missed was the tortoise area because it was closed and we wanted to visit it..

Activities cost in range of 65 to 180 USD after you paid 100$ for entry. so for a family of 4 this park with minimum use of activities will cost 1000+.
But it is beautiful and unique experience.
