ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL RESORT!
We stayed in the adult side, Casa Fuego, and spent most of our time at the rooftop pool and bar. Service was spot on, great customer service at every interaction.
Mercado was our favorite place to eat, they serve breakfast lunch and dinner. It’s open to everyone, not just adults.
We stayed in a river view suite, the view was absolutely breathtaking.
All admission to their parks are included in the stay. We found that during the day, most people are gone to the parks….so that leaves the whole resort at your disposal.

This place really was for families. But masks are worn by some only part of the time.
They have several rivers in which you could swim. As a fellow person said, like a bunch of lazy rivers at a water park without the innertubes. The water was clear but at places had a smell.
There was a boat ride and a few free shows that happen in different parts of the parks.
Most of the cool stuff costs extra on top of the high entrance fee.
A buffet lunch was included with out ticket and the food was good.
There was an avery but I only saw the same three types of birds over and over. The had one jaguar that looked like a mountain lion and a butterfly area.
The big show was at 7 but of course it cost extra to eat or have good seats.
I did Explor last time I was here and I wish I had done it instead.

We had Xcaret plus, no transportation.
We – family of five: parents + 9, 12 and 14 year old, really really enjoyed the park! I was afraid that it would be a little boring after the Xplore park. But nope, we all had a fantastic time!
You just have to know that this park is like a nature park, not an amusement park. Most of the energetic and adrenaline-full activities are extra and cost a lot. But the activities that park offers you for free are plentiful and would keep you busy all day!
The grounds are amazingly beautiful, convenient and easy to navigate. Its never boring to go from one activity to the other. Lots of space and places to rest.
We went to the Birds Aviary first! I liked it the best out of everything the park has to offer. All the pathways, bridges, waterfalls are all VERY beautiful and picturesque. Lots of nice parrots to see up close!
Mayan village was great and interesting. The cemetery as well.
The turtles farm was boring. You wouldn’t miss much if you skip this. Just large open tanks with water and turtles.
The Reef museum was interesting and worth visiting.
The snorkeling was great and a must do for kids. Yes, lots of people but still very enjoyable. You can sit in the comfy chairs around the snorkeling area and relax while kids are having a blast. Water was clean and full of different fish.
Hammocks! In the perfect area! Between the palm trees and you can see and hear the ocean! I managed to have a 20 minutes nap over there )))
We ate at the restaurant at the beach. Don’t remember the name of it. But its the first one you see when you are dropped off after the river swim. The ocean views from the restaurant was amazing! The food as well. Lots of good options to try. Seafood, meats, pasta. salads, desserts and fruits. Well prepared, tasty and hot.
The river swim was PACKED with people. And it was not fun because if this. Would not recommend. Especially if you’ve done the river swim in the Xplore. If it is your 1 time, then try to pick the good time when its not over-crowded with people.
Wear comfy shoes as there is loooots of walking. It doesn’t have to be water shoes. They are not required for the river swim. But would be good for the snorkeling area as the bottom is rocky.
Evening show didn’t do wonders for us. I am sorry…I know lots of people like it and say its the highlight of the park. But we didn’t even stay till the end….

My overall experience was good, although I had four experiences with your staff that I think can be improved. The first was to have breakfast upon arrival, the waiters focus on the tables with several people and those of us who travel alone do not provide us with the same service or attention, several times I had to request bread or juice or something and several waiters asked them. my order and then they delayed. when I saw that they prioritized tables with families and I consider that we all deserve the same service.
The second moment was on the beach to the left of the “Dos Playas Restaurant” where I arrived, I asked for a soft drink and they told me that they had not opened that after eleven o’clock they could give me the service. It was two in the afternoon and I left the place, because no waiter took the order or came to ask me if I needed anything.
In that same place, I asked a gentleman on his staff if there was a place to rent towels and he told me if it was in a store on the right side of the restaurant. I asked him if I could leave my things on the beach tables and go get a towel.
M replied that he would not take care of my things. I did not ask him to take care of my things, I only asked him if he could leave them and go for a towel, he did not pretend that he would help me, he only needed to guide me.
It was when I took my things and went to the store and asked if they could rent me a towel at that place. The saleswoman’s response was extremely blunt and unfriendly, telling me that they didn’t rent towels in that place, that if she wanted to go to the entrance. I don’t know if she was bothered by my question or what was the reason for her answer, but she was not necessary.
So I can also express to you what excellent service, from the staff that takes you from the hotel to the park.
Excellent work from the people who serve you at the ticket offices to sell you the different activities.
Excellent work from the Sea Trek staff, very friendly, they guide you well and make a good experience.
The dinner staff of the XCARET MEXICO SPECTACULAR show, incredible, great service.
That is what I can contribute.
