We accidentally double booked our reservation to Xcaret to the tune of $566 ($1,132 all-in). I called them within two days of making the reservation to cancel one of them and they refused to give me a 100% refund and instead held back 10% for their cancellation policy. I felt like the customer service representative was obtuse and unwilling to look at our situation openly and in good faith. Since we had two reservations she should’ve given me a 100% refund back regardless of their cancellation policy. Because of this I have cancelled our Xcaret reservations in full and will not go to the resort again. It’s one thing to receive poor customer service its another thing to take a customer’s money.

Beautiful, everything is worth it, but the distance from one activity to another is to long, so prepare yourself to walk miles or take a stroller with you
