Had the best time here! It was our first experience among the Xcaret parks and it didn’t disappoint. Looooovvved the underground river. Love the bird sanctuary and the Adrenaline!

We absolutely love Xcaret! It is a must see, if you are going to Riviera Maya. There is something for everyone here. Don’t be intimidated by its size. Everything is clearly marked for easy access to each part of the park. It’s a wonderful place to experience. We try to come each time we visit Playa and Cancun.

My friend and I visited during a girl’s trip and had a fantastic time, but one day really isn’t enough time to see and do everything. We started at the River Azul. The water was cool but tolerable once we got used to it. It’s a beautiful swim, but there’s no current, so its really a long swim (you can choose to pull yourself with a rope on the cave wall if you get tired). The fins that they offer help. Next, we had lunch at Cocina, a Mexican buffet with great food. The tacos were delicious and the food was plentiful with so many choices. Next, we saw the aquarium, sea turtles, jaguar, butterflies, and aviary. Each site was beautiful and the natural setting was breathtaking. I highly recommend each of these activities. We finished off the day at the dinner show. The food was good, but lunch was better because we could choose what we wanted and we could also see our food (they have small lights, but it was difficult to see). Tips for visitors: the park is very large, so there’s lots of walking in the heat. You can bring drinking water or a bottle and refill it with fresh water. Signage could be better, too. We took a picture of the map when we arrived. We had a great day and I wish we would have had more time there.

Do not miss this excursion! This is a bucket list pursuit if ever there was one in Mexico. Worth every penny. Do the Sea Trek addition with pics and relive the magic of it all. Highly recommended.
