Short version: amazing family day out; entry price covers huge amount; lots of walking; swimming optional but amazing; get there early, do all activities, rest while watching the show.

Long version:-

Amazing facility with activities 🏃🏻‍♂️ , animals 🐆 , gardens 🌸 , ruins 🏰 cultural info. We paid only for the entrance fee, locker hire plus a meal and some snacks – everything else was included in the entrance ticket.

The entire grounds is like a tropical garden with some animals roaming freely and others in enclosures. We did 18,000 steps each over the 12 hours we were there.

There’s no cheesy music like at Disneyland/theme parks – the sounds are from animals or specific shows.

There are water refill stations all around the grounds.

Using your wristband, you can activate digital cameras around the grounds with nice backgrounds or mid-activity (rivers, aviary) and get a download link at the end of the day – this is pay-for, but unlimited pictures.

The Rio trip is a flowing river where you swim/float (you all get life jackets) along the river in and out of caverns, tunnels, Mangroves. If you bring goggles, you can see little fishies 🐠 and crabs 🦀. There are lights in the tunnels, ropes along the sides for the trickier bits and it’s only about 2m deep. Amazing. Takes about an hour per river – there are three! Great for cooling off. You don’t need to be able to swim that well (just float) but it helps if you’re comfortable in the water.

We went to the Mexican Buffet restaurant which had a good selection of good quality hot and cold food, E.g. stews, pulled pork, soft tacos, soups, salads, fresh fruit, puddings. Soft drinks were bottomless; alcohol was pay-for. It was 35 USD per person but we ate loads so felt it was good value.

The Aviary was amazing – beautiful birds in a tropical 🌴 canyon with a spiral walkway that went around and down.

The Jaguars 🐆 and Pumas 🐈‍⬛ looked a bit hot and bothered 🥵

The Turtles, Sharks, Crocodiles and Aquarium were all lovely – near the beach 🏝 area – we found some unusual creatures.

The end of the day had an incredible show with dancing, music, games, acrobatics, historial re-enactments. It was amazing, fascinating and entertaining.

Our family has an amazing time; we think children under 6 would probably flake out without regular breaks.

This nature park is well worth a visit and exceeded our expectations. It is big and has so much to offer that it was not possible for us to experience it all in one day. We loved the aviary, the Mayan section, and the Seatrek was magical and worth the extra expense. The park is beautifully designed but be ready to walk a lot! There are no shuttles. We’ll definitely go back when we’re back in the area.

Good day out not sure it was worth the 100 quid person we spent to get in. We found that if you go into town and haggle you could save yourself 35 quid per person on the gate prices. loved the swim in the caves and the tunnels. The show at night is a bit long but very colourful. It’s not in English so be warned. Don not pay for the all inclusive buffet – it cost around 30 dollars but it’s totally not worth it. The drink with a meal is a beer or a wine, which is fine until you see the size of the drink you get. Not even half a pint. Rip off big time. I’ve done it won’t go again

Amazing place. Very well laid out for finding your way around. Swam with dolphins and swam in the river. Awesome show at the end of the day. Very long day but glad we did this experience as you get to do and see a lot of things at one place for one price!
