This place is beautiful, and there’s so much to do! 1 day just isn’t enough.

But I really want to write a review about the staff at the Mexican Buffet. My son (3yrs) had a bunch of food allergies, and traveling can feel stressful sometimes, trying to make sure he has safe food to eat. As soon as we sat down we mentioned his food allergies (we actually have a card from Equal Eats that we ordered so it says them all in Spanish to help avoid language barrier confusion) and the staff went into action right away. The manager was notified and she came over to speak with us, she then went to the kitchen and they decided on some food that a 3 year old would like, she came back and double checked with us and they made him the food. Amazing! They truly went above and beyond to make sure he had safe food to eat! They also have really good labeling on the buffet items (which we noticed when my husband and I went up to get our food)!

Far too many people allowed in. The rivers and snorkelling was just a mass of pink life jackets – such a shame. It is very commercial and extremely expensive. £50 for 5 slushies for example. We bought Xcaret plus tickets which gave us access to lockers however the river end at the complete opposite end of the park so you have to walk all the way back up. It is badly laid out and on top of the already expensive entry ticket you have to buy all lunch and drinks – the Xcaret plus ticket only allows you access to the buffet.

There were some redeeming items. The show. Quite simply it was extraordinary. Worthy of the best West End/Broadway shows. Well done to the director, the back stage team and all the actors.

Also lovely links to conservation however again just all too busy to be able to take it all in.

Returned 10 years later and it was a desapointment. Restaurants closed. Some attraction were changed for worst and crowd has no control even with Covid restrictions. Not worthy of the money spent. Needs a full refurbished or it will die in time!!

The river was amazing and swimming with the sharks! It was very humid and theres a lot of walking. Dont recommend using the lockers at the entrance, theres a lot more lockers inside the park. Also, you can buy attractions inside the park instead of doing the line at the front. Bring a change of clothes. Restaurant was amazing, not the buffet but the one you can order from the menu. Everything is super expensive! water is $4 each, attractions vary from $70-$100 per person

I love the night show and have seen it many times. This last one was terrible. The sound was way too loud. The background music and the live music were not synchronised, so you could not understand a word of the songs. No sing along to the Vikina or others. Xcaret needs to get the sound engineer to watch one live event in the middle upper sector and correct it. It could have been an awesome show! Shame!!
