I heard it called Disney like. But NO! It is not fantasy, it is all real. Many live animals, both land and sea to see. Beautiful jungle plants and flowers. Nice opportunity to see Dolphins

Xcaret is a huge park with lots to do and something for everyone. It has a fantastic beach, snorkeling area, great buffets, amazing wildlife, and cultural activities. We loved the river swim, and the spectacular show at night. Be warned though – it is a lot of walking and if you have children, your best bet is the swimming, wildlife, and beach. Go up in the tower to see amazing views of the Park and the ocean. Visit the museum and see what a Mexican Hacienda was like. Catch the horse show before the main show. This part is so huge, you won’t see it all in one day, so study the map before you go (found online) and pick up a map while you are there so you won’t get lost.

Got the day pass last Thursday, this is a difficult one as Xcaret does have some really good attractions.
The frustrating thing is all the extras we swam through the caves in the natural waters but had to pay to put our stuff in lockers! Didn’t think this was good considering the tickets cost over £100 each
Worth a visit but we aware of the hidden costs
The evening show was good but does go on for a while

I have been to Xcaret several times and I never get enough of it. This park is really full of fun and things to do. The underground river is one of a lifetime experience, really amazing, the food is really good as well in any restaurant that you choose. Chilling out at the pool-like beach they have is really relaxing and the night show will blow your mind, to showcase the Mexican culture in such a beautiful way can only be done in Xcaret. Highly recommended if you travel to the Riviera Maya.

This park is incredibly large so be prepared to walk for days! Our decision was to walk through different areas of the park in the morning each day, we did the park in 4 days and 1 night. We purchased the unlimited pass and were happy we did as it took us several days to enjoy the different scenes and adventures. The nightly show is a must see giving you an insight into Mayan culture/civilization. Be prepared to see baby and full grown Sea Turtles, Dolphins, Nurse Sharks and Manatees. Have an opportunity to visit Ancient burials and buildings. Hand make cocoa and work with clay making a nice keepsake with the children. The best is the lazy river tour through the caves! I can go on and on as this park goes on forever.
Purchase a week pass because you will not be satisfied with a single day visit.
