While there were many families with small children, Xcaret is a blast for adults as well. Be warned that the park is huge, there is a lot of walking, and not all of it is flat. There are so many things to do, you can literally pick how you want to craft your day. To see everything that is included in general park admission, you’d need 2 days. However, in 9 hours, we did see a lot. The Rio Secreto is a must do and here’s a tip, there are 3 different routes, so go back and try them all!

Fun but everything is man made…the snorkeling didn’t have many fish- I saw more people’s legs than fish. I went for water activities and found myself liking all the animals and land area better. Show was excellent

Excellent event for couples, family or friends. The experience, as any experience in Riviera Maya is overpriced but since you are already there you should have that experience. Xcaret is very organized and you can enjoy more than 10 hours with several activities. Good experiences: SeaTrek (extra), Dolphins (extra), lunch, river, snorkeling. Room for improvement: Ticket price (never gonna happen), Photos cost (ridiculously high… almost embarrassing).

Something for everyone, spectacular dinner theatre, maya village show, horse show, multiple fun river swim activities, high tower acrobats, various restaurants, plenty of shade along long walkways. Long day but great take.

It’s a nature park and an animal park and an aquarium and a water park and a entertainment show all in one. The only negative is it is expensive. Highly recommend but be prepared to pay.
