Its beautiful! The best park in the area. Compared to the other parks i think this is the biggest and there are many things to do, it has lot of restaurants, you can swim in the cenote, swim with dolphins, there’s lot of animals and the night show is a must to see.

Much more than we expected! I was thinking amusement park but instead it was more nature. Super! Get the deluxe ticket and experience it all! The closing show is not to be missed!

We have always loved the xcaret experiences, it is a must every time we go to Cancún. But this time we decided to book for the dinner to watch the show at night.
We didn’t get anything but care and attention during the dinner, Chef Rafael Jiménez and his team were always so attentive.
The food was superb, mexican flavours presented in the most beautiful way. Best dinner we have ever had.

BRING $1,000 dollar US. So you can have fun.
The common phrase that I heard all this trip was, “oh so sorry that’s an extra charge” even tho we stay in Xcaret Hotel.
The “extracurricular activites” lady said “oh so sorry all the discounts for Xcaret people are gone/finish”

I’ve been to many places in the Caribbean and to Hawaii and if you prefer off the beaten path and non-touristy attractions like me, then this will not be the activity for you. It is a huge tourist trap, a lot of fluff but not a lot of substance and most of the major activities cost extra on top of your admission charge. If you’ve done snorkeling and things at other destinations, you probably won’t be impressed with this. If you haven’t done a lot of other things or have kids to entertain this will probably be a fun day or activity for you (but a pricey one).
It took forever to get in initially and get a locker. We even went during pandemic times and the place was packed—I can’t imagine how it would be at full capacity, however they did seem like they were making an effort to keep people safe under the circumstances.
The other caveat is that prior to our arrival in Cancun, they had about 11 days straight of rain so I think that affected some of the attractions. For example, the shallow lagoons next to the ocean were roped off and not accessible during our visit. I was under the impression that the cenotes here were natural, like they existed and the park was built around them but they appeared to be man-made.
