We tried this excursion from our hotel at the recommendation of Alejandro, the Best Day representative at our resort. The driver picked us up on time (we were the last stop), then it was about a 45-50 minute drive to the terminal. Rodiver was leader on our catamaran cruise. We stopped to snorkel for about 20 minutes, then continued on with a boxed lunch and another stop for swimming for about 20-30 minutes. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages were plentiful. Once on Isla Mujeres we had about 2.5 hours on our own; and we ended up renting a golf cart to see the whole island. The beach was crowded and very touristy (as is the main drag), but we stopped at a small place for drinks and a snack. Back on the catamaran and then the drive back to the hotel. For the price, I would consider this a little on the expensive side for what was included, but it was an enjoyable day.

Clement, cherry and the rest of the crew were great! It was so fun! The drinks and food was great. They helped up with snorkeling and paddle boarding. 10/10 would recommend.

My friends and I had a lovely time. Snorkeling was so much fun and then just relaxing with good food and drinks!! I’d definitely go again!!!

We took the catamaran for a day excursion from our hotel to Isla Mujeres. The day we chose was unfortunately very windy and we were unable to do the snorkel portion which is kind of a big deal. Essentially we paid $100 per person for a ride to Isla then with unlimited drinks (but we were staying at an all inclusive so the drinks weren’t important). We really should have just taken the much cheaper ferry to Isla and had as much time as we want to explore. They were all very positive and eager to refill drinks but overpriced for what we did.

Unfortunately the weather and seas didn’t cooperate on this trip, and we were unable to snorkel due to choppy waves. However Terry and the rest of the crew on Boat 6 were excellent and ensured that we all had a great time! The trip over to Isla Mujeres included an extended sail, and a tasty lunch. Terry gave some great advice for hanging out on the island. While not snorkeling was unfortunate, the beaches on Isla Mujeres still afforded us a great day. I would suggest going to the North tip of the island, we found it to be uncrowded and spent the afternoon hanging out on the beach in front of a small bar with moderately priced drinks.
