Booked this mostly to see Tulum ruins, but in the end, the experience of the cave cenote ended up being the best part of the tour. Tulum ruins are interesting and in a beautiful area by the water, but the place is very busy and the guide is under a lot of pressure to explain things to you quickly. And sometimes it’s hard to get to see some spots because there are so many other people trying to see the same thing. Very sunny and exposed, so it’s nice that they provided umbrellas for us.
The day of the tour, the water was quite choppy, so the snorkeling was a bit more challenging. But Sylvana did a great job of keeping track of all of us and making sure we got to see rays and turtles. She clearly loves her job and nature, so her enthusiasm about all of the animals shines through.
The cenote in the cave was the surprise hit for all of us on the tour. It’s so unique to not only see the stalagmites and stalactites, but then also to swim in sections in a cenote. There’s even a section where you can dive. It’s a fun yet also very peaceful last leg of the tour.
Sylvana and Juan Carlos were a great team and they looked after us well.

My favorite part was seeing the cenotes and learning more about them. My friends and I aren’t expert swimmers, so we were scared but our guide Juan was the best. Juan guided us and provided encouragement and an overall fantastic and fun experience. Thank you for looking out for us Fl girls and having patience with us. Also, the driver was great, and the photographer did a great job with the pics; we have memories to remind us of this fantastic experience.

Our tour guide Tlaltemoa Tonali was very informed, passionate about ocean conservation, and overall a warm spirited individual. He made sure to assist elderly members of our group so that they could explore Tulum at that their own pace, and was very patient and encouraging with my girlfriend as she snorkelled for the first time. Sergio, our driver, was also fun as he jammed to an 80s/90s playlist.
The sites are spectacular. It’s a busy day but you’ll feel that your money was well spent, especially with the delicious canopied lunch they also provide you with. Just make sure to bring natural/biodegradable sunscreen!

David was an amazing tour guide! We loved that we were able to see the Tulum ruins, snorkel with a sea turtle, and swim in a cenote all in one day! David was so fun and informative…and we got to see all his best dance moves, which was an added bonus. Would highly recommend, especially if you want to hit a lot of highlights in the area in one day.
