This park is huge!!! We spent the whole day here and I know we didn’t see or experience the whole thing, but what we did was amazing!!!
The underground river what can I say, we could have just swam in that all day, but we had experience more of the park.
We did the photo package and loved how they had cameras set up throughout the park so we could have our pictures taken together.
We did the shark hands on adventure, I loved learning about them and experience them up close and personal. The trainers were wonderful and fun. But I did leave feeling a bit regretful because it did seem like a small area for 5 sharks.
The finale of the night was the México Espectacular, it truly was spectacular! We did the dinner and show and well the food was an adventure! The show was stunning and would highly recommend it if you want to get a sense of the history or Mexico.

We visited as a family and did the full access with included activity. We did Snuba on the reef. The park is immaculate, the service is great, the COVID-19 precautions were top notch, and the night show was very worth staying for. The included buffet was good, but I think I would have done better to skip breakfast to make it worthwhile. Bring good shoes, water shoes, get the photo package, and be a courteous tourist. No complaints… check out the mine in the gift shop/entrance as you come in.

This place is amazing and they run it like a well oiled machine. We had such a blast that we are booking the hotel for 4 days next year then off to RH.

I was back in Xcaret with Mexican friends after about eight years. We found that, if still interesting, especially for those who cannot compare, the park had lost much of its natural charm. On the main alley, where we once could admire bigs trees and colorful parrots all along the way, trees had receded and instead of parrots one had lots of booths offering fast food and kitsch souvenirs for tourists. The beach was overbuilt and the wardrobes were inexistent: one had to change in one of the two or three toilet rooms that were at the very end of the beach – one had also to fight for getting a free “palapa” with table and chaises longues… and, to crown it all, while we were absent from our place my photo camera mysteriously ‘disappeared’ – given the high prices of the park I did not expect thieves just to pay for the entry in order to steal from visitors, and the staff is strictly watched: so, as I said, a mystery… but also maybe a sign that the park is now not so secure any more! I also went to the lost-and-found desk: nothing! Nevertheless, the restaurant buffet of the beach was very good (we had a Xcaret Plus ticket). As for the evening show, that I liked so much in those days, it was still in two parts: the first one showed a survey of the history of Mexico, the second part dancing and singing traditions of the country. We, who knew about the real history, found the first part pretty questionable, the second part was OK. Well, all in all, rather a disappointment.
