Here now and we’ve got 9 and half hours to go.. were bored already mid 20’s couple. Not what we expected at all, calling it a waterpark is far from right. Maybe our expectations were too high after visiting XelHa which is amazing; constant day of fun with so much to do!! Here, not so much. Theres a lazy river which got boring, at XelHa you get rubber rings but here you swim all the way through, got out half way cos it was boring. Also the water is dirty with leaves and animal feces. Was making me incredibly uncomfortable. The snorkelling was even worse, 1 small area to snorkel in and there was literally no fish. we was going to book to swim with the nurse sharks but it looked dull when we went to see the sharks, so we didnt do it. Literally nothing to do here activity wise apart from the above and walk around this huge park looking at parrots how exciting.. for the price we paid we only get 1 lunch.. which we will be saving for an early dinner, so lunch and snacks you pay for. At XelHa everything is included, food and drinks anytime you want it. I cant believe how incredibly boring and expensive it is here and weve paid to watch the show which i assume will also be bad. We are fuming just hanging around killing time.. tempted to get a taxi back to the resort, we could be chilling there and doing the same thing for free. I guess this place is good for kids but like i said its so boring? Im looking at other people thinking why have you paid for this, or are they in the same boat as us.. bored.

I had a great experience here! My family and aunt are mot great swimmers at all, but we still had an awesome time at this park. We arrived at opening and stayed til the night show so we were there all day and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the exhibits and the aquarium and the scenery. It is such a beautiful park. The show was amazing! I feel that I learned a lot about Mexico’s history and culture through the show an was very entertained! I highly recommend this park!

From the time we drove in with shuttle bus this place is amazing.. love the whole lay out and how beautiful it is .. the underground caves and lazy river is like no place I have ever been.. beach area is so relaxing.. love love love this place!!

Quick review: avoid xcaret if you dont want to be walking endlessly all day between “attractions”(like an aquarium or something similar and just pay for the evening show.

Longer review:
If you have been to Disney or busch gardens you will instantly know this park is overpriced and boring + tiring because the only thing you get to do if you pay 126$ US is walk all day to watch a few birds, fishes and some other animals, and some minor free activities included in this price like “snorkel” or a lazy river swim. Any fun activity is going to be charged really hard like 160US$ for a 20 min dolphin interaction (outside you get the same for 80 $ us)

Busch gardens for example is 100$ all day dining. (Xcaret you get only 1 meal).

You won’t get to see xcaret completely in 1 day because all the “activities” or to be more clear, the sight seen spots are far away from each other.

Save your money it’s not worth it, it would be the most expensive walk you will ever pay.
If you want to have fun for a better price to maybe to xplore or savage.
