Overall the park was excellent! The Mayan river and snorkeling were exceptional. The only thing is the life vest gave my daughters a bad irritation.

Lower the prices!! Piad over $800 US for 5 to go and got the + package. All that included was a lunch and a licker. Any activities you see in the commercial or ad is extra. With the exception of the cavern swim. And they want $100 US and up per person for any of these activities. They want $12 for a beer. I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in this place and would never go again. So be warned EVERYTHING costs extra!

In Xcaret there are underground rivers, horses show, all type of animals, restaurants and the best is the night show. To make the most of our day, we followed the map for the various areas we wanted to see. This is our third visit and we still get excited to see the animals, snorkel in the underground rivers and swim at the beach. The show started at 7pm which was late after spending the day walking and swimming at the park. We recommend they start the show earlier since there are a lot of families with children and the show last two hours 7-9pm. The customs, the drama and music were amazing, a must see. We didn’t get the ticket with the buffet included. We just bought food (a la carte) or drinks whenever we were hungry. In prior visits the food at the buffets was cold, not worth the price you pay with the ticket. Overall we recommend a visit to Xcaret if you are in Playa del Carmen or Cancun.

While in Mexico we did Xel-Ha, Xplor, and Xcaret. The other two parks were great. Not too crowded, mask enforcement, felt well managed. Xcaret Park was not that. It was packed and very few people were wearing masks and no one was enforcing masking or social distancing. Animal conditions are sad, water activities are WAY better at Xel-Ha and Xplor is more fun for adventure stuff like cave swimming. That said the river swim was the highlight of the day, everything else was pretty bad and a COVID nightmare. This place makes Seaworld look like the ritz Carlton for animals. It is just sad.

Best day and all inclusive! So many fun things to do. My family had a fantastic day!! They supply lockers, snorkel gear, towels and food!!!
