We were here about a year ago and had an excellent time except for the transportation so we stayed at Occidental Xcaret which is adjacent to the park and has a private entrance that you can walk to. But the day we went, there was a private event and the entrance was closed so we had to take a bus. Instead of being there at 9 when the park opened, we didn’t get there until 9:45 and it was already crowded. And because we had to take the bus, we could not get back to the hotel quickly and come back for the show which we anted to see again.

We bought our tickets online and saved. The park should have known we were coming that day and told us about the private event and offered to change our admission to another day. That and the crowds are why we rated it only average.

It is a huge park that you cannot see in 1 day. The show is worth staying for but if you get transportation, you can leave before or after the show.

If you plan to stay all day, get the Xcaret Plus package which includes lunch and a locker unless you are staying at Occidental Xcaret. This hotel is closer, more convenient and a lot less expensive than the Hotel Xcaret which is owned by the company that owns the parks.

Amazing place,amazing staff,amazing night show!!!
We didn’t have the information about the activities that we have to pay extra and that was a little surprise.
We took The Adrenalina boat,Sea Trek and Temazcal tradition.Great experience!!!!People who worked there are great!!!
The photos are expensive,so you better pay one more activity than pictures.That is my opinion.
Don’t miss and the horse show!!!
And again many thanks to people who have made this park and people who work there.

This is a mist see if you are staying in the area. So much to do. Lots of walking but you are almost always in shade.
