My fiancée and I came to Cancun for a wedding and wanted to go on an excursion for a day or so ourselves. We absolutely loved this! The crew and views were amazing and it gave a us a little taste of everything we wanted in an excursion.

We did this activity on our final day of our holiday and unfortunately we wasn’t impressed. We had a prompt hotel pick up and were happy with our transfer to the start of our sailing trip but that’s when it all changed we were guided to boat 12 after boarding we were given a instructions that included not to put sun screen on from waist down as this would make the deck slippery so prepare for sunburn ( how ridiculous) then we left the dock and made our way to the reef where you had about 20 minutes to do some snorkelling that was very poor and rushed in my opinion. Once back on the boat lunch was served with drinks as we headed to the island. Once docked we were asked to take all of your belongings as the boat would be going back to Cancun to collect the next lot of passengers and we would be there for three hours carrying our belongings around in the midday sun not being able to do much together. Once back on the boat we went to a swimming area for around 15 minutes and then back on the boat making our way back. Up to now there hadn’t been a sail in sight but sure enough the sails were out but only for show as the engine was never cut and the sails left loose so they had no affect on the boat.
In my opinion get a passenger ferry from Cancun as it will be a lot cheaper and you will expect to be left carrying your bags around all afternoon, it couldn’t be further away from a luxury sailing adventure and definitely wouldn’t be returning book with caution.

Staff was great, friendly, and accommodating. Terry did a great job. Had to pay for photos at the end and it didn’t break the bank. Snorkeled for about 15 minutes, we were able to swim and jump off the boat and paddle board for 20 minutes, then had 3 hours on the island to enjoy on our own. Highly recommend!

Guides:
Our driver, Diego, was friendly, safe, and accommodating. Had a great conversation.
The yacht guides and photographer were helpful, encouraging, and attentive. We were impressed with their stamina, balance and knowledge. They offered us several much appreciated tourist tips. All guides were on time and where they told us they would be.
Trip:
The yacht was clean and comfortable. The views were amazing. The bento packed lunches were fresh, yummy, and had a diverse selection (even picky eaters could make do). Our lunch included a small sandwich, fruit, cake bite, pasta, and guacamole with chips… and plenty of cold water and adults drinks.
Use common sense and know your actual limitations, physical or otherwise. Follow your guides’ advice.
Island:
If you want to rent a golf cart, bring your drivers license, the cart owner will hold your license as deposit. Be advised: choose a confident, calm and competent driver from your group. The streets are shared with locals going about their daily life (this is their home after all).
Cancún Adventures was a great choice: they kept kept us safe, well-informed and very comfortable.

Everything went off without a hitch. We had a group of 17 (ages 7-48) on this tour and everyone had a great time. The snorkeling was a lot of fun- many of us hadn’t ever been before and Arturo and his crew made us feel like seasoned pros. The drinks were very good, but the lunch was fantastic. Our time swimming off the coast seemed a little short but that’s probably because we were having a blast. On the island our group split into several different directions and everyone had a good time. Some relaxed on the beach, some shopped, and others rented golf carts and cruised around the island. Everyone reported back that they had enjoyed their respective choices.
