  1. Michael P

We went as a group of 10 (5 couples) in our early 30s and we all enjoyed the trip.
Our Tour Guides were Mike & Alan who were both very welcoming, knowledgeable and making jokes throughout the day.
The actual tour of Chichen Itza was really interesting and was all spoken in English (the group was split in two for English and Spanish speakers).
The Cenote was my favourite part, going for a swim to cool down after spending the morning in the sun.

I recommend packing swimming gear, towel, change of clothes, camera/GoPro, plenty of water, face masks (mandatory), sunglasses, sunhat, suncream, snacks.

  2. Karlayl B

The tour guides (Martin & Pastor) were very accommodating and appears to be extremely knowledgeable about the history of Chichen Itza. It was really fun listening to different stories and appreciate the culture of the Mayans. It was also nice when they showed a very unique souvenir option which was the Mayan birth certificate which was hand-painted. All throughout the trip, I appreciate Martin and Pastor’s friendliness and always ready to answer questions. Miguel, the driver, was also very professional and we’ve felt safe all throughout the trip. The cenote was a very nice aspect in the itinerary as well the brief visit to the city of Valladolid. I feel like 30 mins would be a little short though to properly explore the colonial city. Overall, it was one of the best experience I had in my life and have no regrets booking with Sat Mexico. They were really a great group and would highly recommend this tour to all my family and friends.

  3. Amanda K

We had the best experience ever on the Chichen-Itza day trip. Our guides Norma and Miguel were absolutely incredible in every way and made it an experience we will never forget. It meant a lot to us that the tour is led by indigenous Mayan people themselves. Norma is a true professional and historical expert. She speaks perfect English, was extremely helpful and outgoing, and just such a treasure in every way. Her passion for her culture and history, as well as sharing her personal story and even teaching us about Mayan language, was truly special and touching. We had an awesome day visiting the ruins and learning SO much about the incredible history. There is a guided tour portion and then free time to take pictures, explore and shop. After this, we headed to visit a cenote for swimming and lunch buffet. The food was decent. Finally we stopped by Valladolid which was touristy but very interesting to see a colonial town, in contrast from the other parts of Yucatán.
A few tips: Chichen-Itza is stunning but it’s PACKED with tourists and extremely hot so be prepared with sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, sunglasses and face mask. We wore flip flops and it’s a bit dusty walking around but wasn’t a problem at all since it’s not much walking overall. Be sure to also bring cash to buy some souvenirs, for your Chichen-Itza entry fee, and please be sure to tip your guides and driver, since they work so hard to take good care of you. Also no issues with pick up and drop off. They did their best to make it as smooth as possible.
The ride there and back is pretty long, and overall it’s quite a long day. But it’s so worth it. The bus is extremely comfortable. We felt very safe and in good hands the whole time. This is an unforgettable, must-see experience! I cannot recommend it enough. I would give this 100 stars if I could.

  4. Jessie S

An awesome experience! Loved the history and culture the tour guide Pastor knew. We had enough time to enjoy all three activities and the lunch was fantastic at the hacienda. I highly recommend!

  5. Laura Ramos

Our guide Pastor was very nice and the tour perfect. I recommend to other People. We will book with them again.
