Great time with Miguel and Hugo. I’m a bit neurotic but was very relieved when I was picked up on time at my hotel (white van, the driver will come out and look for you at the valet area).

Time at the locations was a bit rushed bc of other guests being late back to bus, but I wouldn’t have wanted to spend much more time at Chichen Itza, the Cenote, and Vallodolid.

Food excellent for my pretty inexperienced palate.

  2. Katie G

This trip was amazing! Chichen Itza was VERY hot, so bring a hat! The cenote was gorgeous and extremely refreshing after sweating at the Mayan ruins, absolutely gorgeous but being water shoes! The lunch was also very yummy followed by a cute tequila tasting! Monies worth is an understatement!

  3. Loritz T

The trip to Chichen Itzá, the cenotes and the local town was amazing. During the tour, we learned about the Mayan and Aztec history and current culture. So educational and fun! After the tour, you can cool off and see the beautiful cenote (sinkhole) that looks like paradise.

Our guide, Pastor, was helpful and stayed with the group at all moments to offer help, answer questions, take pictures, and point us in the right direction. He went above and beyond at every moment. Worth the money and the great memories with my family!!!!!

Also the drive Roger was very skilled and I slept like a baby to and from

If I could give more than 5 stars- I would !

If you are on the fence about booking this tour, BOOK IT! Our tour guides, Norma and Allen, a mother and son team, presented the Mayan history of Chichén Itzá seamlessly in English and Spanish. You can feel the love and appreciation they have for their Mayan heritage.

After Chichén Itzá we took a 30-minute ride to a cenote for swimming and lunch. After spending 2 hours in the sun and heat at Chichén Itzá, the cool waters of the cenote are a welcome treat. Be prepared to shower and don a life jacket before taking the plunge.

Lunch is served buffet-style and features many traditional dishes for the area. The food was DELICIOUS! I can’t remember the names of all the dishes, but the slow-cooked pork and chicken mole with habanero salsa and refried black bean were worth multiple trips to the buffet line.

By the time we made it to Valladolid, I really just wanted to get back to my hotel and take a shower. It is nice if you want to buy some souvenirs from local vendors.

I do recommend the all-inclusive package. It covers pick up from your hotel, the entrance fee to Chichèn Itza, the life jackets and locker at the cenote, and one beverage at lunch.

It was great that I will remember for years to come.

  5. Banannery

The bus picked us up from our hotel just north of Playa Del Carmen. Our guide, Pastor, was friendly and informative. We enjoyed the freedom to wander Chichén Itzá for an hour after our tour, and swimming in the cenote was wonderful. The ride to and from the site was comfortable.
