Amazing and informative excursion! With clear directions on schedule and what we can expect! Alan was a great MC Elias driver was so efficient and safe! Learned a great deal would recommend to others

  2. Selina L

Norma, Allen, and Raul (driver) provided exceptional tour. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. This is my second time to this tour. Would highly recommended them.

  3. Catherine Y

We had a really fun trip with Alan (tour guide) and Elias (driver). Alan was very informative and made us laugh a lot, the driver was really safe. We started in a meeting place in the town of Tulum at 7am and left around 705 in a small van of about 10-12 people, we then stopped by Akumal to pick up two people then we ended up in playa del Carmen to pick up another two people so by the time we left there it was about 8am. We had a fun time listening to the history of the Mayans and Chichen Itza on the bus. The bus had excellent air conditioning and provided a cold bottle of water for us and above cabinet storage for bags, in front of the seats places to put cups. You can eat on the bus. You can leave your stuff on the bus as well when you go to each place as it stays locked up. There is a bathroom, but it’s recommended for emergencies as the ventilation in the bus is not great with the sealed windows. It took us about 2 hrs to get to Chichen-itza, we paid 571 pesos per person to Alan who helped get the entrance tickets (they are separate from the tour fee) which was convenient and the same price as at the entrance. Alan showed us some important places in Chichen Itza and helped take some photos for us. We spent about 2 hours there (including about 45min by ourselves to take more photos, explore, and shop). When shopping, you can haggle the prices for items, if you buy more you can also haggle more. Don’t be afraid to walk away because they will usually want to negotiate with you. Cash is cheaper than card as they charge a small fee to use credit card. After that we drove for about 20 min to a cenote where we changed in changing rooms, took a shower, and then went down to the cenote. You are required to rent life vests for 150pesos per person. The cenote doesn’t have any under cave areas, it’s more just a big deep hole, but it’s fun to jump off these higher steps. There’s quite a lot of people in it and it’s not a very large cenote. After that we showered, changed, and ate at a buffet in the same area. We really enjoyed the chicken mole, pork in tomato sauce, and fresh fruit. We were at the cenote and had lunch for about two hours. Then we left and went to the small town of Villadolid for only about 30 minutes which had a cute park with snack vendors and more shopping. We enjoyed the fresh mango and the Mayan crepes (crunchy crepes). We left the city around 530pm and got back around 730/8pm so it is a whole day excursion. I’m not sure if other companies have to pick up at multiple locations because it did add on an extra hour to our travel. Otherwise it was well worth the money and we had a great time with Alan.

Our tour guy Luis was marvelous & very knowledgeable. He provided us with a lot of information in a very entertaining
/funny way. This was my first time on a tour in Cancun and I’m very pleased w the experience. I loved the service that was provided from the time of the pick up to the time we left the bus. Definitely recommend this experience to everyone. It will not disappoint!

  5. Michimania

It was a good trip with obvious highlight being visiting Chichen Itza. However not enough time spent at Chichen Itza because they have to stop at Valladolid. Nothing special about that place. Can be totally skipped and let us use the time to gaze at Chichen Itza. Luis, the guide was really good. Very knowledgeable, funny and friendly person. 5 star to him
