Fabulous. Highly recommend. Luis was our guide and did an awesome job. We went to Mayan ruins first. Great history info. It will be very hot. They give you water but put on sunscreen before leaving the bus or carry it with you. Cenote was a real highlight. It is what you see in movies. You have to wear a life jacket but that’s no biggy. You can jump off into the water or get in slow. Not a space to leave your things at the water so be sure to rent a locker for everything. Be sure to try the tequila at the third city stop. It was easy and worth it. They let you try everything but be prepared to buy a bottle at about $50 to $75. Negotiable. So much fun. I have two teen boys and they really liked the trip. Thanks again Luis!

We had Tino as our tour guide. Though he was knowledgeable, he was not very personable and somewhat rude. As we got on the bus in the morning, right off the bat it felt as if he was annoyed with my parents who do not speak English as their first language. At the site, my mother asked where the bathroom was. He told her he was counting people and to stay in place, then proceeded to lead the group away, ignoring her. Later in the tour another individual (who we are not associated with) asked a question on Mayan culture, Kulkulcan. There were times when what Tino said was unclear, so it was not unreasonable to ask. Instead of kindly answering, Tino belittled that individual in front of the whole tour group. Not cool. As that individual clearly did not speak English as his first language, he should be more understanding. At the end of the tour as we stepped off the tour bus, he looked unhappy to be there. Though I would recommend the overall trip, Tino’s attitude deducted from what could’ve been a 5/5 experience.
