    – a rip off for tourists considering most activities are not included and the prices are between 40-60US$, but that is not the issue, but the financial extra that is implied: for instance I took the swim with dolphins and is nothing special just that I was curious as I have never done it before and by the way you DON’T really swim with dolphins but you just get to touch and pet them, however any cameras are strictly not allowed and that is because they are selling one single picture of your experience with 40US$ and the whole set with 185US$. Yes it is correct – the Park entry price is less than 100US$ because they are making sure they will squeeze all your finances with extra activities and pictures.
I wonder why they put the pictures at 185 US$ “ONLY” and not 1850US$.
How ridiculous can they be to price some pictures more than double the Park entrance. Plus you are not given the option to take your own pictures… simply outrageous, irrational and greedy
    – the counter staff were very rude and unhelpful as when asked to pack my picture they told me that I have to pay for a bag as if I didn’t pay hundreds of dollars for the Park entrance, extra activities and photos… everything is too much trouble and they don’t miss an opportunity to demand for money. They show no care and no respect for customers as they only see walking US$ not people. Unacceptable really
    – apart from that the rest of the staff were nice and helpful, the food at the restaurant was good, zipline was fun, but the snorkeling disappointing.
THE REALLY NEED TO IMPROVE THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SHOW MORE CARE AND RESPECT TOWARDS THE CLIENTS – after all we pay for their salaries.

We spent the day and snorkeled. The food was very good and enjoyed authentic Mexican. We loved hanging out for the day. Absolutely beautiful

Loved this place! I also checked out Xcaret on different trip-I honestly liked them both equally. This place closes at 6pm and if you are ok waiting for a show for Xcaret (at the end of the day usually ends around 8pm I believe) then I recommend Xcaret.

    1. Food here is all you can eat or drink all day, including alcohol. (Xcaret is not)
    2. I recommend going to Tulum first and then coming here, that way you dont have to deal with the “rush” of people who go to the lockers and the river, which is the best activity. The hotels usually sell this package but Im sure you can find it cheaper online.
    3. What to bring-Biodegradable SPF (if you dont have one bring your non-bio degradable and they can switch you out with samples and return it to you at the end of the day when you leave right at the exit).
    4. Park closes at 6 so people usually try to have dinner at 5 and then run to the lockers to check out-I recommend showering and getting your things at 4 ish, get dinner after and stroll to the front.
    5. No need to bring snacks or food since the entire park is all you can eat/drink
    6. If you plan on doing water activities, bring an extra change of clothes (they have towels), and whatever toiletries (shower gel etc). BRING WATER SHOES!!!!!

I spent my Christmas Holidays in Cancun this year, and I had the opportunity to spend one afternoon in Xel-Ha. It was nothing but amazing, I felt like it was a miniature version of Xcaret’s Northside of the Park(activity area). I enjoyed that it wasn’t as crowded and developed as Xcaret. Also, the food is as great as they say, way better than its sister park Xcaret. The only con that I seen about this park is that there is camera in top of the WOMENS CHANGING ROOM/TOILETS!! Upon inquiring with the towel/locker worker, after my wife noticed it, she just told me not to worry that it did not work. I think the park should just remove this camera from that area so no one feels uncomfortable.
